Lawyer gives up $14 million Iowa lottery ticket claim
Strangest winner story ever? Lawyer sacrifices $14 million jackpot to prevent lottery from learning the winner's identity
The New York lawyer who tried to redeem a multi-million dollar lottery ticket in Iowa last month only to have his claim called into question by officials demanding to know who he represented is giving up the quest for the jackpot.
Crawford Shaw, 76, said on Thursday he was withdrawing his claim to a Hot Lotto ticket worth up to $14.3 million because I'm not going to arg

Lottery fraudster denied, real winner found
The lottery gods have handed a man more than $90,000 in winnings but only after an alleged ticket thief was denied the same prize.
In a strange case the likes of which lottery officials say they haven't seen in more than 10 years, a gas station clerk has been arrested and charged with stealing a customer's Lotto 6/49 tickets then tried to claim the prize after one ticket hit it big.
There's some incredible uniqueness to this one because a ticket that was stolen ended up with a prize in ex

Lucky lottery lady outed as Stanford University statistics PhD
I did a digital download of this mag, just for this article. Just a brief summary.
The reporter talked to a statistics PhD who said the odds of one person hitting the 3 scratchers is much steeper than 18 septillion.
The reporter spoke to a state official from another lottery who said I am certain that the Texas Lottery is doing a serious investigation, and they are not going to let anyone know about it. An IRS investigation is the what the locals say promted the store closing.

Atheist converts after mock prayer to win $1M lottery is answered
Oh, Nancy, Nancy, Nancy... What am I gonna do with you? You should really stick with decorating tips and stuff like that. Didn't you read what your leader said? He said his little green spacemen came down here in their spaceship and mixed with the monkeys and that's how you, him and truecricket came to be! He's gonna be mad at you now for saying he's a big dummy!
I love the way you crackpots want proof for everything in the Bible but when it comes to the nonsense of evolution you have no nee

Can prayer affect the outcome of a lottery

Sorry, I was busy typing my previous reply and did not see your post.
Thank you for declaring me #1 - biggest fraud, phony and hypocrite on this site
But I just can't accept that award when you deserve it so much more than I do. You aren't the the mountain-top hayseed you pretend to be. Not at all. That goes right to the core of why you deserve the award. You draw outrageous conclusions about anyone that ticks you off. You are totally inconsistent in your beliefs. I bet you don'

Can prayer affect the outcome of a lottery
My religious beliefs are personal - I am not posting them on the net.
Au contraire mon frere, your religious beliefs are blatantly obvious.
You are singularly the biggest fraud, phony and hypocrite on this site
It wasn't my idea. addai1516 came up with it.
LOL! Whom or what exactly are you so frightened of that you don't want to be associated with your own words? You presented a list of demands in your own words, not addai's, to management, explicitly detaili

$2M Michigan lottery winner defends use of food stamps
No, thats extreme, they are not evil, in fact some are very nice people, just mis-guided and greedy, self serving, and they are not entirely to blame, the system has helped to put the notions in their heads.
I have a problem with the fraud, I don't have a problem with someone who has been hit hard and needs a little help, I am following 3 cases where the Department of human resources has fired 3 employees for mis-use of stamps, by putting friends and family on the plan.
Polititions are mos

Statistics around the balance of even/odd and small/big numbers
You said, You know the only ones who reply to your post are me and stack.
This isn't true, but regardless, unless you and Stack47 are the only ones accounting for the thousands of views, I have to assume there are a few out there who have learned something. Many people are shy in these situations, and not as willing to risk looking foolish, as you are.
If we decide to quit then it will beas though you are talking to yourself.
Why then don't you do me, yourselves, and everyone else a

N.J. looks to be first in nation with online lottery sales
Will the banks allow for the online gambling? As it stands now it is very difficult to charge any online gambling because it is illegal. Should this measure pass then the banks are going to have to rewrite their rules. Will there be an extra fee charged by the bank or the Lottery Commission for doing this transaction online?
1. The UIGEA (Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act) specifically exempted lotteries from the ban on gambling transactions. That being said, banks will end up prob
