How does Jackpot Self Service Machine works
They're big ole vending machines. Idaho's sell all the online games (Powerball, Megamillions, Wild Card, etc.) and a bunch of scratch offs, tho not as many as the c-store counters usually sell. They also have scanners that will actually tell you the value of your ticket. The stand-alone scanners that all the stores have tell you if you have a winner, but it doesn't tell you how much. One big problem with Idaho's vending machines is that you can't tell if you can get a draw game until you put

Thanks! I'm just happy it wasn't an ELECTRIC for $10 total - they actually have those. Hope your lucky string keeps up - haven't gotten many $20 tickets lately. Just a couple Cash Fevers that won $0. I saw a Cash Fever win in the trash at Wawa on #028 for $20 (Wawa has a place in the machine where you scan the ticket and get that amount credited or get a cash voucher) - Cash Fever just doesn't do much. I don't play the Platinum Payouts at all. Should I try them again? Again, great finds, dr65

Cheated lottery winner files lawsuit
Let me say this - there are some clerks that are nice people. And I know that some store clerks happen to be the owner(s). But the majority of people working as store clerks are doing so for a good reason, and that is that they could not find employment elsewhere (tell me, when the teacher asked what people wanted to be in life, how many kids raised their hands and said, I want to be a convenience store clerk!!! ). If not the owner but instead are just employees, they are likely earning minimum

Snag.. On the $5 tickets I have seen success myself and on here on the Winner Take All. 20X hit for me today also. As for $2, I do not know much about them. I will grab one here or there. The Gold Rush Gus hit $40 for me the other day. PA has alot of decent $5. Winner Take All, 20X The Money(friend hit $1000), Mother's Day and even the Lucky Cherry Slots has hit for me decent of late. I am with Matt on this.. I am not as cold on the 10's/20's, but the $5's seem to be hitting well of late. If you

Winning at NY Take 5
I ended up buying the Take5 promo today. But it really isnt any good. I went to the store and cashed in a bunch of empty bottles. I got 5 bucks back from the bottles, so I decided I'd put another 5 bucks with my 5 bucks from the bottles, and buy the Take5 promo. I filled out two play slips and handed them to the clerk. She then says, If you want the Take5 promotion, you have to buy $10 on one ticket, not two. Now, I'd much prefered to have played 10 lines tonite, plus my 3 free lines, but noo

Thanks Matt. I live closer to Reading now, but still go down that way alot. There is a small gas station next to my work that seems to always hit decent. When I stop at Giant, Redners etc, I dont seem to do as well. The one day I was on a roll of getting 50's and 100's. A co worker said Here is $5, get me something good . Came back and got her a $50 winner. A husband/wife couple bought the gas station and they are super nice. sometimes feel bad that all I do is buy lottery tickets, that I will o

Good job Matt!! The Cash Fever I still like but my favorite store today did not have them stocked. My gosh, ran into the ticket hawk tonight, man was she guarding the machine...felt like beating her back or smacking her. She bought 4 Monopoly's in a row, scratched them like she was putting out a fire on them and got 4 more - she did not want to move at all. I thought sheesh lady, I really hope you don't win anything...I'm not like that but in this case, there is no reason a little co

$319M lottery winners revealed
I'm confused by the story too, although I have seen something that could possibly explain it, but even then, I still have questions about what actually happened. In a convenience store located near me, they pre-print $1.00 QP tickets and hang them on a tree stand . It's a small metal pole about one foot high standing on the counter next to the cash register. It has clips on it, and they attach the pre-printed QP tickets to the pole. A small sign says Lotto QP's - $1.00 each. I think the stand

The person who missed out on being part of the Albany 7 should not feel bad
I know this is a far out thought, but it could be true. If the eighth person actually did decide to be part of the group, when the ticket buyer went to the counter to buy tickets, the time difference it would take to clerk to select 8 tickets instead of 7 could have meant the difference between the winning numbers being selected by the machine. What if the money was collected right before they went out to buy tickets? The time it would take to remove the money from his wallet cou
