110 $100,00 WINNERS !!??

They did the quick-pick method and haven't decided whether to take the winnings in a lump sum or over 30 years.Doug Orr, marketing director with the West Des Moines-based Multi-State Lottery Association, which operates Powerball, said that as the winners come forward - several winners so far in a half-dozen states - they were revealing that they got the winni

Wisconsin Powerball winner mystery solved
The winner of a $36.8 million Powerball jackpot, who kept his good fortune to himself since Jan. 8, ended the mystery Monday and came forward to claim his prize. The winner is Peter Bapes of Thiensville, Wisconsin, lottery officials said.Bapes chose a one-time cash payout of $20.2 million, rather than annual installments amounting to the full prize, said Andrew Bohage, a spokesman for the Wisconsin Lottery office in Madison. In a brief telephone interview Monday, Bapes said only that he had not ye

How do you pick your numbers
For Powerball, I usually play five numbers that mean something to me. They have some easy to explain significance from the past or present and they all have one thing in common ...they pertain to my own life. The sixth number that I play (red Powerball) is either my lucky or unlucky number. If neither one seems right (feels right) at the moment I'm filling out my play card, I check quick-pick as a last resort either for just the Powerball or sometimes the entire six number play ticket.

Texas Lottery Considering Computerized Drawings
Quote: Originally posted by LOTTOMIKE on March 1, 2005this makes me really nervous,i e-mailed the tennessee lottery a week ago and they told me they would never use computers, quite frankly these politicians see this as a cheaper alternative and the bad thing is its catching on quick.then they lied to you. they are not just using balls to pick their numbers. not unless certain ones have been weighted more. i would put my life on it.

Gail Howards books
Ok you get due credit also Todd. I was merely speaking of her quick-pick info in Lottery Master Guide, for NY Lotto that I caught by emailing www.nylottery.org. That is the info I PM'd you about recently.

Quote: Originally posted by Maverick on January 18, 2005The one thing I caught is she downplays the Quick-Pick information (for NY Lotto at least; I can't speak for other locations), most likely a business decision to have more people buy her wheeling systems.Who caught that?
