When you win a small prize
Do you spend the entire amount on more tickets, or do you stick to your budget for the night? I didn't make this a poll, since it's not just a yes or no question. For example, tonight I saw someone buying scratchers, he won some money and came back for more. I was only in the market for a short time, but he was still at the lottery counter buying tickets after I purchased my groceries. This is my answer. I cashed in a ticket for $11 tonight. I then bought a dozen eggs, a loaf o

Past Posters You Miss
Pac, I didn't realize this was a new thread! LOL So I checked ran out of topics..... There are only so many times you can ask quick picks or your own numbers? or would you remain anonymous? So how about starting a survey like If you won the lottery, would you buy a pet? or a poll like if you won the lottery, what flooring would you want in your new home? (a) carpet (b) tile (c) laminate (d) wood (e) none (f) dirt (g) other, explain I think the answer in many cases is prob

Which Win do you prefer
Justexploring- I have done what you are talking about, getting tickets that others played but couldn't pay for or 'never picked up' as a couple places around here will let regulars CALL in there plays. I didn't hit on any of them but since the place I got them from knows the person I would have most likly sold the ticket back to them and leave it up to them if they want to split the money or give me any part of it. And to answer the poll I voted for my system but I also play qp's - jus

Should one play if they have others feeding them
The poll was dumb and from an idiot. We can't go around wondering whether everything is straight or not. Just like some of the products we honestly buy are made from slave labor in other countries and the big box and big stores you buy from use underhanded practices. Blood diamonds is real life. We all know we live in a jacked up system and society, you just have to start with yourself and family and hope and help others to do the right thing don't let others don't threaten you in what

Should one play if they have others feeding them
They why did you ask such a question? We all know that any organization that you give to whether it's through taxes- money or whatever is compromised except those that are truly grassroots and then some of those can be questioned. So what was the point of even asking if you'll doing your part in trying to make this world a better place to live in by giving your time and talents to those who are less fortunate rather than drawing attention to the many things that can happen in the transition o

System players
Thanks for all the replies. For what I could gather reading the threads, most of us who visit here daily are not system players. Hence the poll. So far there have been 222 views and out of those, 25 voted. Only one person admitted to winging it. I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Should tax payers be paid back after a win
No. Again, like the other poll it's too general. First of all, getting on disability isn't that easy. Most people have serious medical conditions. Unfortunately, as I said on the other thread, there are a lot of cheaters who get lost in the system. Regarding payback, there is a difference between a gift and a loan. So if you determine that the money received is not a loan, then it never needs to be paid back.

What a mean-spirited poll and you should be ashamed. Here it is the Christmas season and you are being a narrowminded, self-absorbed snob. I know people who don't play lottery who look down on those who do. You're referring to people as stupid, and you call yourself a teacher. Thank God, my kids are not a part of the school system where you teach.
