This is correct. Lottery sales actually increase in poor economic conditions. It is a leading indicator of recession. People play when they get desperate mainly scratch tickets and a study in WA showed people spend more proportionately from unemployment checks vs paychecks adjusted for amount.

If I won the lottery l(example - over 10 mill) I would keep a 3rd of it and give away the rest starting with family, friends. Friends would be those close to retirement giving them an early incentive because hopefully they have some retirement money and wont need as much then single or struggling parents to help relieve the stress of needing help for bills and such. No matter what I would help those if I can. I BELIEVE THAT IF YOU GIVE .....! YOU GET...!

LOTTERY POST 25TH ANNIVERSARY GIVEAWAY #2
If I were to win a lottery jackpot (really big would be nice) I'd establish a trust for my family and do the obvious things like pay off debts. But I would start a fund to help elderly and older foster children never adopted and aging out of programs. I'd like to buy some land and set up housing for those same groups with true affordable housing (Veterans) included. I want to be able to truly pay it forward generously. Time to manifest the dream.

01) Payments to the administrator: Someone out sick and fails to pay for a drawing - cover for them or not - are they out for the drawing or out forever? This one should be very easy. If you had a pool of say 100 people, I would be shocked at a 100% collection rate for every drawing. If someone fails to pay for a drawing (sick or not, that's irrelevant, people can fail to pay for any reason), why would they be included in the drawing? If you played the same numbers every week for years
