No Buying Tickets For Lottery Retailers
Funny this poll would come up now. I buy my tics at the same convenience store owned my Middle Eastern folks. Very nice people. I always joke with her (the owner) that her machine is broken (I don't win too much). But she has had pretty good luck lately. She won $500 on Pick 3 last month, and won on 2 separate scratch offs for over $1000. I don't it should be outlawed, her chances are as good as anyone elses, and I don't see how anyone can really cheat, esp online games. A little side note.

Should PB MM be tax-free/lump sum
Uncle Jim, what a wonderful commentary you made! I actually think I had some shady relatives that did do that kinda scam in bars. To think they are now probably the politicians that passed the tax law. They get ya no mattah whatcha earn! Not a fan of taxes in the US . I said yes to the survey poll.

new votes in polls
Hey Todd, I see the lunatic has a new username (unless it's just somebody else's warped sense of humor) and seems to have been nice enough to vote in just about every poll on the site. When a new vote moves the thread to the top of the list, but doesn't show up as a new post in the last post listing, it usually saves me (and presumably most other people) the effort of looking at a thread that doesn't have new content. Today it seems that all of those votes have resulted in the last

Tennessee Lottery takes back refund offer
On the Ohio tickets below the name of the game it's almost like billboard and I've seen the projected Mega Millions jackpot on Pick-4 and Rolling Cash 5 tickets. And according to the article, in Tennessee it was a fact the projected PB jackpot was printed on the tickets. I doubt you have seen the inside of every lottery retailer. I wonder the same thing every time I see a poll asking do we think a jackpot will roll . I've never had anybody after buying 10 MM tickets ask me if I think t

U.S. Congressman wins lottery again
I ve got a Gallup poll (done by them on their own and not a hire by any lottery or any church group) that says that the average lottery player is slightly more educated and has a slightly higher income than the average American mostly that the lottery is played by pretty much everyone (except that the very poor and the very rich play in lower numbers for entirely different reasons). Sadly, the myth continues. There is going to be a CBS news report out next week (planned for Monday eveni

Oklahoma lottery winner says yes to TV; no to marriage proposals
I am happy for every winner. Like Bunky and the others, I don't understand why these people don't just say thanks and go home. Of course then we wouldn't have all these threads on the Lottery News! I hope she recovers from her surgery and doesn't get too hoarse from talking so much to the media. Depends on her mane goal. If she's not careful she might come down with a colt it could turn out to be a real night mare if she's not a stable person. I hope she doesn't foal around with her new

What is Rich?
Lilly, you really hit home with that remark. Yup! I had to sell my home in NH when my company downsized, so now I rent. For a couple of years I've had problems with my plumbing - not talking about my personal plumbing...that's another story. LOL - I mean the plumbing in my home. I realize I shouldn't have commented on an earlier post, and I apologize since this is a poll, not a debate, and each one of us has a right to his or her opinion. My next door neighbors think I'm rich becaus

Instant ticket Recycleing program
Please everyone show your support here with this poll. That Instant recycle program was the best thing that the lottery had ever come up with and now has been come to a holt. The messy litter of the lottery is back all over our streets! And for all the good the program does for the community with the out pooring of people going out to help keep our enviroment clean of this mess. And not to add the recycling process that helps out communities. I read some where on the net the program was cut shou

Florida Cash 3 - 08/01 to 08/31/2007
Again, you can't believe what you can't see..... Perhaps they changed to RNG already and we don't know it. Why else would they poll people and ask if the public knows which system is used, RNG or ball draw? This states lottery is as questionable as the way we used to vote!
