Lottery winner can seek bigger prize at trial, judge rules
For starters it's obvious the drawings were rigged and only one combination had a chance of winning the jackpot. Because one ticket had the winning numbers the jackpot was lowered for the next drawing and that's is basis for the lawsuit.
IMO a problem with Dawson's case is it can't be proved had the jackpot rolled without the cheating, he would be the eventual single ticket winner. But it will be simple to prove the lottery was negligent in providing fair drawings. And there is the question

Arizona becomes latest state to shield lottery winners' names
The states that don't have anonymous laws are worried about transparency while the players are looking for invisibility.
Get rid of RNG games and they won't have to worry about if the game is rigged.

Rigged Lottery
Good question noise-gate.
I'd say they'd have to stop saying it's rigged or they'd be implying they're in on it!

What is up with the Lottery?
The last two years I have won ZIP. Before that, I always hit a $8 or more on Megamillions and Powerball. I live in Texas I also play the Texas Lotto and Texas Two-step. I won $5 on the Texas Two Step back in May of 2018. I am seriously thinking about walking away from all of it. The Multi-State lottos can go to $1.6 billion and yet only have 6 second tier winners? Give me a break. Since they got rid of the machines and let computers do it I think it is nothing but a scam. Just to prove my point

Almost 6 years ago. And you can bet there were the usual conspiracy theorists who cited the consecutive numbers as evidence the lottery was rigged, LOL.

Connecticut Lottery considering switch to computerized drawings
When they make the switch I bet they get a recognized expert like Tipton to implement it for them!

Investigation finds lottery scamming Tipton brothers have repaid virtually nothing
I'm sure the Federal laws of repossession are different for lottery crimes. Too bad they weren't treated like drug king pins/money launderers.
The government can seize the proceeds of crime regardless of what type of crime. It's mostly the hysteria of the war on drugs that lets them seize assets without due process, but civil forfeiture affects people who are innocent or guilty of fairly minor drug offenses far more than major players. When the government follows due process, as they're doi

How to detect patterns in lotteries?
Most lotteries do not have patterns.
The few lotteries that do have patterns (because they are rigged or have a poorly programmed RNG) still appear random. Most people will go crazy before they find a reliable pattern they can exploit for profit.
