no 2 free QP on mm?! :-(
So I buy $10 of mm on single ticket, but get A-J, no 2 qp. The man tells me whatever the machine gave him is it. Maybe promotion is over, or I have to buy on OCt.12. I tell him it says on the TV screen buy $10, get 2 qp. So I leave, ask other places, no one knows nothing, just tell me they hand out what the machine prints out. Has anyone here bought $10 of mm? did you get 2 free qp or not?

Lucky and unlucky Scratch-off ticket numbers
Thanks. I also won [$4 #295] and a [free ticket #299] on these, at a different store. The following were losers: 294, 296, 297, 298. I read somewhere else in this post, I believe, that they put out more winners when a game is new, to get the word out, so that folks will play that game. I bought 2 more of the same ticket, #272 and #273 when I went to cash in the winner. Those were both losers. Has it been your experience that there are multiple winners in the same book? Or would I be better to

Unusually high winning numbers for California SuperLotto
Draw Date: 09-29-2010 WB 27 33 35 45 46 Mega Ball 26 No one got all 5 WB and the mega ball but someone did buy a ticket with all the WB. I'm thinking that ticket must have been a quick pick. Who picks numbers that are so high on one ticket? Funny thing is, if I ever bought a QP ticket with numbers this high, I'd probably think I got ripped off by the lotto machine.

What's with NY Sweet Million??
Did you read the news on the front page of LP? This week, a retailer in Queens tried to steal a 14 million dollar Lotto winning ticket!! I hit Take5 for $23.50 last night. When I cashed in the ticket this afternoon, I told the clerk I had a 23 dollar winning ticket . She scanned it and said, Maybe not. I didnt say anything because I was POSITIVE that it was a winner. (I had checked it online at home, then I used the scanner in the store.) She scanned it again, said nothing, but opened the

Clerk tried to steal $14 million lottery ticket
When I read the paragraph Confronted by the data, McCassell and the investigators, the clerk miraculously . . . found the missing ticket, said a New York State Lottery official quoted by the Post. I had a thought in my head that this guy would get off without penalization. They already suspended their license to sell so that's good. If he's just an employee he should be fired and possibly charged with attempted grand larceny. If he's the owner I can understand the simple punishment of no

Lucky and unlucky Scratch-off ticket numbers
I usually get my tickets from the local small chain grocery store near me or the gas station - they both have machines so it's not possible to see the ticket you're buying until it shoots out of the slot. If I'm at the mall, I like to visit the lottery store and take a look at the ticket numbers in the case. I also love looking at the copies of tickets they have displayed of the big winners. I've already bought tickets from Giant too. There's a tobacco shop not far from me that sells ti

What's with NY Sweet Million??
I dunno Jacal.... Somthin aint right with that clerk situation..... When you buy five bucks of SM on Monday or Thursday, the clerk doesnt have to do anything to make that three dollar freebie ticket pop out of the machine. It gets generated and printed automatically. Maybe I've seen too many TV shows lately about retail lottery clerks scamming customers, but that whole deal you described sounds fishy to me. I'll just leave it with it's a good thing you spoke up..... You're right about SM

Scratchers
Oneday, Do you also find that certain clerks neglect to fill the empty ticket bins? This Jonah I've described will not refill the bins until there's 10 Out or Line (Feed malfunction) readouts showing on the machine. Usually, the Out bins held the tickets I was planning to buy. Another trait of this person is Double-Binning , where the same scratchers are displayed in two, or even three, separate bins. Invariably, I'll pick the one that holds the non-winners. The amount of frustration one deal

Scratch Off Strategy
Hey guys, I love the line strategy but I wanted to change tune a bit. I just purchased a $10.00 Redskins Legacy Ticket tonight here in VA and I hit for $100! Very nice hit as it is my biggest win beating my record of $75 from a month ago on a $3.00 bingo ticket. Anyway, the ticket number was 007. The tickets come out of the machine backwards down to 000. This is where my questions comes into play. Being that there are only 7 tickets left on the roll should I go back and purchase from th

POLL - On The Whole Do The Lotteries Provide Truly Random Numbers?
I asked on another post about how come duplicate numbers show up on the last nr, the Power Ball and MEGA Ball? We seem to get more then we should when we buy four numbers on one ticket, and end up with same PB/MB nr. Am not discussing all numbers, just the Power/Mega Ball . The odds of the dulpictes are rather large, more so when we buy twice a week, and it happens at least three to four times a month, or about 8 buys per month and at least two of them, sometimes more have duplicates.
