POLL: Low profile or flaunt it?
It's hard to hide behind the scene considering you have to appear in front of the press, telling the whole world you won, and now that a flood gate has opened...lol
And that's another good idea for a poll.
What's the difference between winners, and rich neighborhoods filled with millionaires. How is it, that the millionaires who worked for their money, are less susceptible to beggars?

It just hit me...........
Tell Eric that I m giving him a electronic high-five...lol
God...I wish I was 21 again.
That would be a good poll.
Question: If you Knew 100 percent,( don't ask me how, just make believe), that you would take home 100,000,000 net from the lottery tomorrow, or that you could be 18 years old instantly, NOT knowing what you know now, but wet behind the ears, YET, young nevertheless....Which would you pick>?.?.?.?

Lottery win by one of your relatives
judging from the poll results and written replies...
we're all related to the same group of people
We don't need a meet greet ... a family reunion should just about cover it.

Do You Tip Your Lottery Clerk?
Several years ago I won $100 on the powerball. When I went to cash it in, the clerk told me that her customers usually tip her, so she was going to give me $80 to make it easy. Sheesh! I told her I'd been playing for years and even with this win I was $1000's in the hole. She begrudgingly gave me the whole $100. To top it off, this was a clerk who worked evenings and her boyfriend would come stand behind the counter and grope her while she worked. Ugh! I hated when I walked in and she was

POLL: Ever wonder why you play?
POLL: Ever wonder why you play?
To win......
I chose ...I'm a freak for numbers. I see them all the time, without provocation.

have you ever won using birthday numbers?
Was that at a press conference Double Down?
Answer to poll: Yes No. Yes, I've won a little. No, I never won a jackpot. As you know, I play personal numbers a lot. 1 of my Lotto combinations is made up of family birthdays. A second is a combination of birthdays and ages. I've only gotten 4 numbers twice and that pays about $75.
$10 million on Sat would be better, but 5/6 will also be great. Depending on the amount of winners, I've seen 5/6 win as little as $3,000 and as m

Moral Question: Doctor or Lottery Winner?
Being a bit of an Objectivist (Ayn Rand's Philosophy) I would normally say niether one myself.
However I neglected putting that option of niether on this poll to get a bit of a dialog going.
My view is if there were a Moral Obligation which I don't think there is mind you in a situation like this it would fall with the doctor and not some random lottery winner.

Moral Question: Doctor or Lottery Winner?
If there is a poor person who can not afford a surgery then who has the real moral obligation to pay for that surgery? A wealthy Doctor who performs that type of surgery? Or a random Lottery Winner?
Mind you both would have about the same sort of money. The Doctor from collecting fees for services and the lottery winner from their winnings.
Say both have a net worth of 30 Million for the sake of this poll.

winning a few thousand, what do you do?
I don't see it in your poll, but this is my choice:
Lower my debts. (i.e., make a few extra car payments or pay off any outstanding credit card balances)
I checked other but stick it all in the bank is probably a similar choice, since I would stick it all in the bank and then pay bills with it!
