POLL: 'Moral' obligation for a jackpot winner
I voted no but believe they will eventually quit their jobs anyways.
The auto industry has been downsizing for years so if a jackpot prize winner does quit, they probably wouldn't hire anybody to replace them and if they did, because of seniority rights that new hire would never get that job or those wages. Ford has 30 and out so it depends on the number years service an employee has and the amount of the jackpot before this scenario could even play out.
This poll should be a no-braine

What If You Lost a $40 Million Dollar Ticket?
We need more room for the poll choices. It's hard to whittle them down sometimes.
There's currently a thread on what you'd expect if you found a $40 million dollar lottery ticket. Let's turn it around and find out what you'd do if you LOST a $40 million dollar ticket.
Edited to Add: Would your response be different if you had signed the ticket before you lost it, than if you lost it immediately with no indication as to owner?

When you backtest systems..
Hey lottolaughs, I just stumbled across this poll.
When working on P3 P-4 I usually backtest one month and according to the results I either drop it or keep going back sometimes as far as one year.
When working with P-5 P-6 I usually start tracking on the day of my system start and test going forward tracking each new draw instead of backtesting. I'm not interested in past performance. You can only win in the present and/or future not the past.

When you backtest systems..
It all depends on the situation. If I backtest a p-3 system for 5 consecutive days and win straight all 5 days, buying only one ticket a day, I'll know that's a really special winning system, and not just a fluke.......LOL
On the other hand...it very well could be a fluke. Those kinds of flukes are fine with me....
Actually...that's a good poll. Has anyone won straight on the p-3, 2 days consecutively?....LOL

Would you wanna be single if You won Big?
What would you do?This question is not for single people.
Sorry, I never even noticed this remark. Really!! I guess I didn't because I don't believe that any poll on this board should be for specific groups of people. I see why you posted it that way however. You are asking the married people on this board if they'd get divorced.
Regarding the answers that say I don't want someone to be interested in my money I disagree with this attitude. I will elaborate on this later.

Honesty About Your Desire For Wealth
This poll makes alot of sense to me. In my family we had that parable about "it's easier for a camel to get through the eye of a needle than a rich man to get into heaven" pounded into our heads. My brother actually thought it was a sin to be rich. One day he made a comment about that to me and I explained that God wants all of his people to be rich. Proof? Job was very rich. One of the richest men in his time. But he was also God's servant. King David was also, well, a king ! And a ser

Honesty About Your Desire For Wealth
How much do we really need? Might make a good poll. Would you rather win $4 million and be set, be very comfortable, or win $150 million and the fleeting but inevitable fame that comes with it, and not have a moment's peace?
I was at a seminar once and the speaker went around the room asking people what they would do with one million dollars. Most people gave typical answers about buying a house, a nice car, maybe a boat, etc...
The speaker would listen to them and then say, You don't nee

Which would you....
I use the same exact expression...LOL
The reason I didn't include that choice was because this poll is was specifically designed to see who would be the first person to mention that expression. NOT!!!...but it sounded good...lOL
But seriously, you're right justxploring, that should have been included. Good call!
