Wow, 20 years is a long time to keep the club together. I wonder if the group at one point was a lot bigger and some people got fired or just dropped out. I have seen lottery groups in the past containing 30 or 40 people. They hung in there and it finally paid off. Congrats to all.

Having been there and done that for over 30 years, I can tell you that it is written into the departmental SOP that officers are forbidden from playing lottery games while on duty. I got ratted out once by by a vindictive patrol officer that refused to follow instructions from a supervisor in regard to a particular case. Cost me 5 days suspension with no pay (which was actually lenient according to guidelines), but she got fired for her tactics of insubordination against a supervisor, Lol

You are absolutely correct Artist. I couldnt believe the comments I was reading that others thought his behavior was ok. It was not ok, common sense prevailed and he was fired, let this be a wakeup call to others.

Yes, you're right by all the above, as a State Worker myself we are held to a higher standard, on and off duty, which can be a reason to be fired. Sexual harassment alone would come to mind, and yes she is a subordinate.

I agree. Whoever thought this was an improvement should be FIRED. IT takes forever to find results for each game, it' too confusing. WHY can' they leave WELL enough alone.
