Are there fewer large groups winning Lotto jackpots?
It seems like a few years ago there were more large groups winning big jackpots. I recall co-workers would pool their money and buy tickets as a group. Could the decrease be due to remote work at many companies? I know when there is a $200M+ or larger jackpot, I always hope it is split among many people/coworkers, etc.

How can you say the more numbers the better?? Are you serious!? If that's the way you think then you're dead wrong! You could hit every single draw by playing a large pool of numbers like you do but you aren't making hardly anything if anything like you claim. If I posted 20 numbers then for one it means that I have a better idea what could fall and I could load up on certain numbers from those 10 or 20. Your logic is ridiculous and a cover up for having no clue of what's coming.

why did your group's designated buyer buy some of them at the machine and some of them with a human clerk in the same store? why didn't she use one or the other for the entire purchase? Mmm... no specific reason, I guess. I also buy some tickets for this pool and I sometimes do the same thing. Kind of a sense of better randomization this way. I sometimes buy $50 at one store and $50 at another one across the street (instead of just buying $100 at the same place)

It'z the remaing numberz used AFTER removement verses the Total numberz in the Game'z POOL..that determinez the Probability If three numbers are removed from 5/39 game or any pick 5 game, it's a fact five of the remaining numbers will be drawn. But if saying there is a 100% probability makes you feel smarter, go for it.

I'd bet that CA would just omit the multiplier and the amount you'd get for a partial match would just be whatever amount is allocated to that prize tier divided by the number of winners, aka pari-mutuel, same as it is now. Since all states pay out their lower tier prizes from in-state funds, how one state allocates lower tier prize money with or without multipliers wouldn't affect any other state.
