Terrible idea. Other states have legalized credit cards to play the lottery because they're greedy. Colorado should not join this club. If the lottery isn't bringing in enough money, the state needs to raise taxes or cut spending (preferably the latter), not fleece the population by dangling easy CC debt in front of them.

Good point. I mean I get it... I get both sides. The dollar is worth less because of inflation. But I also see where alot of people no longer have that extra disposable income to buy a ticket. I forgot it actually is possible to pay 0 taxes on a lottery win and it's what an already wealthy person would likely do if they won. Create a non profit and deposit the entire amount in it. OMG what is wrong with you? Other than the California state income tax, your post consists of make believe. Presumably the person who wrote no taxes at all meant just that, especially when you consider the fact that the federal income tax is far higher than any state income tax.
