The Math and The Lottery
lchoro -But IF there is a bias such as you mention it's going to be the wiseguys , the analysts, who find it. And it's only those who utilize hot/hot or cold/cold trending who can and will use that bias to their advantage. It won't be the Quick-Pick player.But let's face it. With lottery payout percentages falling generally between 50% and 60%, you'd have to find some sort of bias to tilt the odds of winning almost 2 to 1 in order to have a chance at long-term profits. And that just doesn't

Mike verses aldoph;
I have to agree with Win D. Everyone justs jumps on the bandwagon and quick to judge here.You all want to crucify Adolph. The man has helped me without anything in return.He answers all my questions about Pick 3.The post with the Adolf Hitler remark just proves my point about the mentality of some of you.I can't believe people on this forum. You people who are quick to judgement really disgust me.If your systems are so precious why don't you do 2 things.1. Keep them to yourselves, or2. Copyr

any big winners? anywhere?
Quote: Originally posted by captbacardi on April 14, 2005[...has anyone here even won big?...] I often think about that very same question and have come to the conclusion that there probably are people posting who have won various types of lotto jackpots. I suppose that matching the numbers does make people understandably hesitant to mention it. It might sound like boasting when the whole thing may have been the result of a lucky quick-pick. It might also be that they don't mention it becau

A strange experience
Anyway, that's a slightly refined version of the way I predicted the Ohio pick 5 drawing earlier in this thread. I did it quick and dirty, and I neglected to notice that those numbers had already hit three days earlier.It's also the method I used to not succeed at picking the NM RoadRunner last night, the Tennesse draw today or tonight, and the Kansas draw tonight.Having said all that, I'll also say again that this monologue thing gets old for me, as well as for everyone else. I've asked for i

What do you fear upon winning?
My biggest fear after jackpot win would be the agonizing pressure of trying to decide how to reward the person behind the counter who sold me my ticket. If it was a quick-pick, shouldn't the person who pushed the button and printed out my winning ticket deserve a nice tip? A very nice tip! Everyone from the store employees to the news media will be watching closely to see if and when I give a check to the person behind the counter. Sure, I know the store gets a nice bonus for selling the matchin

Texas Lottery Considering Computerized Drawings
If it's true that there are dead numbers when using random number generators for the draws ...where does that leave people like myself who often play one favorite set of numbers time and again? I must then ask myself, are one or more of my favorite numbers dead? Would I be better off using quick-picks when computers are used to draw number sets? At least then I'd have a fighting chance by changing numbers often.Why oh why don't the lottery boards realize that much of the attraction and exc
