Posting lottery theories
Do note that the above post is addressing the question in the OP; If you have not posted publicly something you noticed in the numbers, why not? and the poll options. That implies the thread is asking those who don't post such observations, not those who do, nicht var?

Best state lottery website
NJ's is lousy. njlottery.net. Maybe that ought to be the next poll. I have a few candidates in mind that stomp NJ into the dust. J

Lotto KING
You're doing a good job of it PAC. They look real nice. Which is the reason I wish I'd voted for you on this poll. We're none of us worth a damn predicting, but if someone's good at something I thinks we ought to make him LOTTO KING. J

Poll - PB & MM vs a National Lottery
Wonder what a 'discarded vote' is? This poll is surprisingly split right down the middle, with Yes ahead by one vote. That discarded vote might be the one that would have kept them even. I'm almost sorry I voted 'indifferent', though I'm nearer that than on the Yes side.

Poll - PB & MM vs a National Lottery
goldrush That's not the idea, State vs Federal, the poll is about Powerball and Mega Millions vs a National Lottery. I don't think anyone is saying a National Loyyery would replace all state lotteries, just the multi-state lotteries we now have. And it would give those in non-lottery states the opportunity to play- there is no state right now that doesn't have its own lottery that is a MM or PB state.

GA midday 7/03/06 Controlled Group pick.
Here is an added note for this poll that I should have put in the instruction above: What I have noticed is if you are watch a certain state like GA Midday, you notice a sequence of evens (Group Two) will hit then (Group One) and the occasional (Group Three). Its a matter of following wich group has been hitting the last few draws. pcnut

convicted felons and lottery winnings
Any lottery that would accept someone's money for a ticket and then refuse to pay them would probably be sued and then shut down. And rightfully so. Remeber the poll about illegal immigrants hitting a jackpot? If they accept they bet they are legally implying they will make good op the payoff. Of course, there probably have been cases like this where the real winner sent in a beard .
