In group lottery wins, splitting the spoils tough
I am in a work pool only because I would hate to be the shmuck that didn't want to join coworkers in a work pool and they won big like that guy from Albany NY last year here https://www.lotterypost.com/news/229659 I also play on my own.
My reasons are simple. Even if there was a dispute that one person played in former games and didnt play in the game that won the jackpot and so the judge ruled in their favor and ordered that they be included in the share I would still walk away with more mon

World's biggest lottery jackpot won by three tickets
I see lottery pools being a hassle too, but if you do go into one isn't it smart and common sense to draw up a contract an all members sign it? It won't be airtight if a lawyer didn't draft it but should be clear enough to keep issues from happening. On an episode winners had a pool. They were all coworkers. I just feel bad that those pool of people actually thought they won. That lady is wrong with messing with people's emotions New York...

Maryland Mega Millions winner already in pool dispute
Either this woman is a complete and total idiot, given that you can claim anonimously in MD or it is a hoax
One theory coud be that she purchased the $5 ticket for the pool and picked up a $1 QP for herself at the same time, this would be more in line with the official word from the MD State Lottery Officials
If this is the case she could easily show the $5 pool ticket along with the $1 QP ticket to prove that she is in fact the owner of the winning ticket
Would the office pool sti
