I was one number away from winning big on finnish Viking Lotto 1 year ago. But it s just a mind error, actually you are as close of winning the jp if you are one number off or if any other number is drawn. If you have 1,2,3,4,5 on your ticket and 1,2,3,4,6 is drawn it s still the same probability that 6 was drawn or number 70. It might look close in print but is really not very close to win the jp.

It s according to law the tickets not be paid. Intralot was the former company in hire with the state that produced the error. IGT has since been hired by the state to take over. Pragmatism wins the day. The thing is though to so many players is that for two hours or so, this glitch was exploited by a lucky few who were at the right place at the right time. And, tbh it isn t fair to the ones that weren t able to cash in. Especially if you consider the reasons that they play.
