You Can't Lose If You Don't Play
I was talking with a retired college professor the other day and we got into the subejct of the lottery. When he told me that he's never played the lottery, I asked him, So you're too smart to play the lottery?
He smiled and said, You can't lose if you don't play.
I then pulled a dollar out of my wallet and said, Well i'm going to go lose this money.
He then said the smartest thing of all when he replied, If you win remember me.

Oh so typical fro

Thanks Sully and Member. Its always nice to win box hit money on a double.
Midday Game - September 2 - 317 Rundown off of the 054.
Winning draw was not in the Rundown grid for the last two midday draws--so maybe today it will be today, or we get 3 days in a row no grid. the last 3 draws for Midday has a repeating digit from the same game prior, so betting a flip to a No share today. The NO SHARE NO REPEAT DOUBLE has not been pulled since the end of July, so that's where my picks are tod

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
I think they're underestimating the sales tonight and they're going to be closer to matching saturdays sales of 230
It looks like you nailed it after all, and for the first time in a long time sales for a Monday weren't significantly smaller than for the previous Saturday. The final jackpot is reported as $1.201 billion, which is very close to $230 million in sales.
Not that it wasn't already obvious that 1.3 billion was conservative for Wednesday, but since we're now starting about $10

California Taxes
Why don't they cash the ticket and see what happens?
If the State takes their cut from their winnings, well, debts are meant to be paid.
If the State doesn't take their cut, they (the husband and wife) can take half the winnings and offset some portion of that debt.
I mean, it's that simple.
Small lottery winners, have small debts that they don't want to pay.
Big lottery winners, get into big debts that leads them into bankruptcy.
My thought is if they don't reduce their

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
Thanks for the info. I did not have a clue where to get this. It does give me an idea of when to go All In . I was just watching the cash value numbers jump for my plan (Man plans and who laughs?) and was thinking about 500-750 Mil cash value and then go for it. But, as we know, a win can happen any old time that would ruin my plan for now (again, I refer to the laughing!).
My recent grumbles were just referring to a *long* dry spell before I stopped playing last March and just saved the co

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
If a free ticket does not contribute to the jackpot, it is worth 35 cents. This is the expected value of winning $4, $7, $100, $50,000, $1 million, or $9 million. $9 million is the cash value (with today's interest rates) of the starting jackpot of 20 million . Of course, the actual value of a ticket is more than 35 cents if the jackpot is more than $20 million annuity, but anything extra is player money. The cost to Powerball would be just the 35 cents.
With five lines and all 25+5 numbers

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
Got one self pick and one quick pick for PB J tonight using my Miserable Millions Money.
Actually, some one left me a $3.00 balance in a lottery self serve machine on one of my stops.
I added an extra $1.00 and made my selections... Woo-Hoo... I'm A Winner!!
We went back and reviewed the $2.00 a line data.
Seems the previous jackpot should have been closer to $212,000,000.
This jackpot should be closer to $235,000,000 based on $2.00 a line data.
Short by $53,000,000,
