48 Philly transit workers win $172M Powerball jackpot
Personally,I agree with you,RJOH.But I can just see the lawyers chomping at the bit to try to get her to sue...so they can get a third of her winnings.Happens almost all the time when a pool wins.

Lottery analysis software?
RJOH It's a real scenerio. And from what I can tell RJOH you seem to be one who may be able to provide a real answer. From what I have read from your past replies to others you seem to be well with equations and math. Do you think you might be able to share your equations in this scenerio. I assure you it is a real scenerio. I just called it a scenero as a way of conveying my real situation. I simply need help. I am not concerned of the cost yet naturally would want to save mo

Win Lotto Systems by William Foster
RJoH is not a good person to ask because he has never read the LMG. He uses darts on a wall...his aim is quite random

So why has the price for Powerball tickets gone up anyway?
Tks for the history lesson RJOh. if more state lotto would learn from it. The multi state lotto's have really taken a lot from the states and the state games could only really grab some of that market back by offering really generous payouts like 80% of cash taken in or something, cant see greedy state politicians going for that., or public servants devising ways to cut back their share of the money. so individual state draws will continue to decline :( money talks and gamblers chase higher jack

Iowa Lottery security chief bent on determining identity of jackpot winner
Had to refresh my memory on that story, RJOH - happened back in 2001 - after he found the ticket (worth $46 million) in his junk drawer - he went to work with the ticket in his back pocket all day - after work he went to the store, had it validated and dropped ticket with claim form in a regular mailbox. Now that was just a regular guy who was obviously very, very lucky - can you imagine what would have happened if FedEx lost that Ohio ticket?!

Are pre-draws corrupting your lottery strategy ?
Yes thanks RJOH. Your opinion and reputation here are well respected on the forum. Good to see you also disagree with Crow's unfounded rants. Several others also disagree about pre draws. RJOH is not only one of the smartest folks on the forum he is a pretty wise player as well. He's right again here as well. Your lucky RJOH. Be careful. When you offer up an honest response to a question here that's when Crow goes off subject and off his NUTT. He begins to brag with rants and name

Connecticut to audit lottery winners for back taxes
Like RJoh, I assumed all states did this. I seem to recall reading an article here on LP a few weeks back about Massachussetts going after a lottery winner who'd won millions. They assumed he was a 10 percenter : someone who cashes tickets for others who are trying to avoid paying child support or back taxes. So apparently MA does this as well. Does anyone know if all states do it? Or which ones do and don't?
