I was just thinking that no matter how hard we are working on finding the way to win, jackpots are usually won by lucky 'lottery-strangers' who just stopped by to buy a ticket with random numbers without any predicting and calculating stuff. Did anyone ever hear of any winner who actually hit the jackpot using his 'strategy'. Almost all the stories say that it was pure luck and often the numbers were even randomly picked by the machine.I guess if anyone ever create a system of how to win, then l

I doubt any of those lottery directors are crying. Their lotteries all made a ton of money on this run. And they all know that bigger jackpots lay ahead. Their goal is to have very high jackpots occasionally, not everytime, so I wouldn't be so quick to call this run a failure. They got exactly what the wanted. Having a winner at 170M shows everyone that the odds are not insurmountable , and that it's still possible to win. It's my guess that they would love to see two or three similar runs befo

I think they are just trying to find a way to advertise higher jackpots. You know that many many people every year are taking the cash option. What is it like down to 3 or 4 that took the annuity last year. They know that people don't take the annuity so why not make it easier to raise the jackpots faster. I think the age of annuities are over. I think all lottery games should be cash only. Annuities are something of the past.Brad
