Powerball to roll 2 faster !
Good work Todd.
He/she just started a multi-opinion poll, biased to just one opinion, and I replied.
Good thing you deleted it Todd. Would've raged some fire in here.

Which scratchers do you play?
I've been scratching all night!! Gosh, it's only February and the mosquitos and no-seeums are out in full force. Sorry, I couldn't help answering when I saw your poll. I look like I have chicken pox. I've been trying to get a good signal on my cell phone and I got eaten alive on my lanai.
Oh, as far as the lottery goes...I'm too cheap to buy scratch tickets. I don't like the instant disappointment. I'd rather wait until Sat night and sit eagerly by my computer.

jackpot lottery pool
Yea we should have an LP poll. Everyone send me $5 for next draw. Would be an interesting idea, but I also avoid pools for the most part, as I do not wish to split a jackpot with too many others. Especially smaller jackpots. At the most I pool up with one family member once in awhile.
I prefer to play myself though, as their is less financial obligation to others. But it is actually hard to find anyone as serious about the lottery as I am, most only play once in awhile on whims....you know

$400 Million Powerball ?
You can win 400 million Saturday night by having one set with all 6 numbers and several other sets with the wrong bonus ball and Power Play = Yes. (Imagine if Archie Herring had the Megaplier????)
I predict that the winner(s) will be tomorrow night, a group of people from a supermarket.
(poll idea: predict where the winner will be from!)

Most Matches Only
Do any states operate a Pick 5 (or any other game) like this? If not, would you buy with this concept?
Choose 5 numbers from a poll of whatever the standard is. Person who matches 5 of 5 gets the ENTIRE prize pool for that day's drawing. 4 of 5, 3 of 5, 2 of 5, and 1 of 5 get nothing. If no one gets 5 of 5, the jackpot goes to those getting 4 of 5, and if no 4 of 5 matches, it goes to those getting 3 of 5, etc.

Going to anonymous state to buy tickets
Hello everyone For a while, I have been thinking of going to one of the anonymous states (such as Delaware,North Dakota, Ohio, South Caroliina, New Hampshire, and Louisiana, states where you can actually BEANONYMOUS) ONCE a year and buying, like 500 tickets. However, the odds of winning the powerballare 1/146,107,962 and most people who actually WIN only play a FEW tickets every drawing. But don't forget. No matter HOW MUCH you KNOW about forming a trust, you can only be anonymous in a sta

steeling tickets after you print them up
Perhaps the writer of this poll was typing through tears and not concerned with typos and spelling.I'm reminded of my New Year's day 1998. I was on my way to a friends party for finger foods, movies etc. I had dressed up and was in a good mood but I had to stop for gasoline. I paid for the gas inside the stop n' rob and went out to my car at the pump. Got the locking gas cap off, got the pipe pushed into the hole and no runny pump. After figiting awhile with this I went back into the store a

Newspaper takes a hard look at the N.J. Lottery
Beware of anyone who claims that the lottery is a regressive tax . They really don't know what those words mean - they just sound bad. 1. The lottery is not a tax. Stop buying lottery tickets and stop paying your taxes and see what happens.2. At $1 for everyone, the price of a lottery ticket IS regressive (though the term is usually limited to taxes). So is milk, shoes, the price of gas, etc. 3. Are sales higher in poor areas? Probably, but that is because the gas stations and convenie

The most important question on LP
Rick G said: From this soup of 23-25 numbers I make my quick pick selections. No wheels. So I guess my vote would be both with the difference being that I make my own quick picks and don't let their machine pick them for me. Hi Rick,It seems that your 'quick pick' selections wouldn't actually be quick picks, but your own combinations based on the system that you described above. (Good system, by the way - I think I'll try it out on GA Fantasy 5).This is just a nit, but I guess it comes dow
