With promise of $1.5m prize, scam artist bilks woman out of nearly $28,000
Thanks for posting this article Todd...may have beaten you to the punch on this one.
Yesterday a message was received that I allegedly won $250K from/ on Face book. Her grammar was not always correct and said I'd receive an email. Wrote back that this is probably a scam which she did not like. I can't receive emails from FB because somehow my email address is backwards and that way it'll stay!

Iowa man claims $4.38 million Lotto America prize
This is from the article in News about Georgia allowing players to remain anonymous;
Georgia joins Delaware, Kansas, Maryland, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, and Texas as states that allow winners to remain anonymous. Arizona has a limited shield law that shields lottery winners' identities for 90 days after they claim their prizes.

Lottery tickets will not be sold in South Carolina for more than 12 hours this weekend
The article was based on switching from Intralot to IGT. It has nothing whatsoever to do with drawings. Think of the machines that print up the tickets; they are computerized. They not only hook up to South Carolina lotteries, but also MM PB and any other nationwide drawings they may participate in. I suppose one could surmise that when you purchase Quick Picks they are basically RNG--the computer picks the numbers for you. Unlike RNG, the computer hooked up to the printer has no idea what the w

Powerball or Mega MIllions
Related Mega Millions article . . .
The low numbers drawn on May 4 also triggered 12 Match 5 winning tickets six of which included the optional Megaplier and are worth a whopping $4 million each! It s the largest number of multi-million Match 5 tickets ever won in a single Mega Millions drawing.

Illinois Lottery sells tickets for instant games after top prizes are gone
For those suggesting what Illinois is doing is okay, the point is that you're buying a lottery card that claims in bold print you can win $15M when it is impossible to do so. That's deceptive, at best.
This is a well done article.

FL Lottery rigged (from ex-lotto official?)
I Googled what the o/p said to for the original article. Directly below that was a Fla. lottery video. Look carefully at the next to last ball. The guy presses the button and the 35 comes up. Then he presses and holds the same button a second time and number 53 comes up.

Lottery winner says she dreamed about Fantasy 5 jackpot win the night before
The article says the winning numbers were 4-13-14-29-35, and there is a picture of an easy pick ticket with the numbers 4-13-14-29-35.
So it's pretty clear the winning ticket was an easy pick ticket with those numbers.

Gas station clerk finds lottery ticket worth $1 million, returns to owner
Yup, the whole article was about Kansas except the one reference to Kentucky.
Thanx Bleudog101. I hope you win big as well. I live in an anonymous state so you'll only read about the win in general. My legal team will provide Todd an exclusive news release though. I have big plans for the winnings. I have favorite charities that will get the funds I wish I could give now.
