Iowa Lottery CEO Terry Rich announced Thursday that he intends to retire in late 2018 or early 2019. Rich has led the Iowa Lottery since February 2009 and is just the second person to serve as its CEO since the lottery's start in 1985.
Rich, 65, released this statement regarding his retirement:
Over the past years, I've had the privilege of serving three Iowa governors while achieving some significant milestones at the lottery, helping with projects to address some of the state's biggest

Connecticut Lottery forced to redraw special New Year's raffle after 'human error'
Error made 100,000 raffle tickets unable to win
Players of a special New Year's lottery raffle game in Connecticut may be out of luck if they tossed their tickets, after officials disclosed they need to hold a new drawing after 100,000 eligible tickets were mistakenly disregarded Monday.
The Connecticut Lottery said there was a problem with the drawing due to human error, and a second drawing will be announced later this week. Winning tickets from both drawings will be honored, according t

I am CONVINCED only way you WIN BIG if they let you win!
Considering the Hot Lotto fraud, numerous RNG issues, and other various glitches, it does make many wonder whether it's even worth playing various lottery games.
Ball drawn games could be rigged in devious ways too involving computers. Even if all balls weigh practically the same (which is near certain, since they regularly check that), there could be other ways to rig the draw. In many instances, the balls contain RFID chips so each one can be individually tracked from a distance. Could the

Turmoil: Connecticut Lottery interim CEO quits
Frank Farricker, the Connecticut Lottery Corp.'s board chairman and interim CEO, resigned from both unpaid but influential positions Monday after drawing heavy criticism during a legislative inquiry into lottery officials' handling of the fraud-plagued 5 Card Cash lottery game.
Saying that he hopes to help the lottery agency by ceasing any further distractions, Farricker wrote to the quasi-public agency's general counsel, Matthew Stone, and said he was quitting immediately.
I am proud to

Julian Assange Gets Sweet Revenge After Hillary Cuts His Internet
POLITICS
October 19, 2016 A+A- EMAILPRINT
With just a little over 2 weeks before the presidential election, Hillary Clinton is pulling out all the stops to keep Julian Assange s mouth shut. With no success at actually killing him, her minions did the next best thing by cutting off his internet at the embassy several days ago. Unfortunately for Hillary, a snip ing list has just been released, h

British Columbia Lottery taking bets on US election
I'm sure this was mentioned above because it seemed to be mighty important last night..and Hillary's
shock and awe at Trump uttering the statement that he won't accept the results...or that he'd see after
the election was like someone took all her money away! The cohorts were shocked too of course and
Sheppard Smith/Fox didn't seem to like it either.
But here we go - trump crude again..I know what he meant..for a very, very long time CNN has boldly been
Pro-Hillary...there's

British Columbia Lottery taking bets on US election
Hillary lost Secret Service because she's a rotten witch with a behind the camera persona which includes
a filthy mouth, no class, no respect and no dignity. She's a witch by all definition, look at her face, she doesn't
even have to open her big mouth. She's about as arrogant as you can get. When Bill told the Marine who served
8 years for his country and did 2 tours in Iraq to sit down because he wanted the truth about Benghazi, it shows
you what type of couple they are..they w

2005? They dug up a video from 2005 and are making it relevant today?
I'm not going to defend it. I don't like it either. I do think that the only apology he has to make is that
he was recorded talking about it. You know there are women that must have lined up for him because
of his money. And if you're all adults here, you know and have probably heard this kind of talk at some
point in your life...maybe you used it yourself too. It's raw and raunchy and disgusting but to be shocked

3 charged in theft of $250,000 lottery ticket
An employee at an Iowa lottery retailer is charged with stealing a winning $250,000 instant scratch ticket and working with her boyfriend and mother in a clumsy attempt to claim the prize, investigators said last week.
Prosecutors allege that Casey's general store employee Ashley Bosler, 20, found the winning ticket by scratching off a corner and scanning the bar code that confirmed it was a winner of the game's top prize.
She allegedly hadn't paid for the ticket and was too young to play,

Bill would send NC lottery winner info to food stamp office
$2,250 s such a life changing amount! Wow kick them off benefits for the rest of their
lives why don't you, North Carolina!
If someone receiving food stamp benefits gets lucky with an extra dollar, let them for
Pete's sake. Raise the threshold and eye up regular, repeat winners/abusers. Kick the ones
deserving of termination off the books. An extra $100 a month isn't going to raise anyone's
standard of living to a point where those that do not get benefits are suddenly in a role
