It's not balls that are the problem, its a poor matrix design. They should have altered the game a long time ago. Instead they chose to ignore the problem and had a long string of low jackpots. You can't have a game with close to 200 million potential players and have such low odds without expecting to have low jackpots and low sales. Yep, that's reality. In big jackpot games such as Powerball and Mega Millions, the jackpots are heavily funded at the expense of the lower tier prizes. If you don't like it then stick to the low top-prize paying pick 3 or pick 4 games. Anyway, I do like that they are increasing their second and third place prize payouts, but I don't think them increasing the matrix is going to produce any 300+ million jackpots anytime soon unless they can get every state that will be new to the lottery game
