Lucky For Life
If I lived closer to the Pa line I would buy one ticket for every draw no matter what. I'd probably play the same numbers every day unless they drew the same or similar numbers in the last draw. Here's how I look at it. I used to hit the soda machines every day buying as many as 5 sodas a day. I stopped drinking so many sodas now I buy lottery tickets with that money.I think of the lottery as an investment even though I might never reap the big return, I know my money is going to some cause. For everyones information
I read a lot of topics on lottery post and many of the ones where tntea is the center of the topic. it is clear that she has issues and some of these issues she brought on herself. Asking for or running a poll as to wether to post or not to post. was like opening door number 1-2-or 3 and finding that what was on the other side might not be very pleasing. This is about the 4th or 5th time she said she was leaving for on reason or another.A few times Todd had to intercede and give his opinion and

would you... please vote
Excellent way to do it! Each day a new thread. If anyone notices, most Tx predictions are listed under 1 thread every day (sometimes a stray apears, but not too often), usually started by Pick 3 Fairy OR anyone who gets up before her. Ain't nuthin wrong with that, it's not showing off, and it's not overpowering the board.I didn't understand the part about taking up too much room ...seems that's Todd's baby to control...not individual members. Afterall, he owns this site, yes?tntea, you w

Banking Large Winnings
Hooray for those who cheer on education!I got my education from life and learning as I go :)I personally did not take the college avenue . I am gratefull for the *experience* I gained from being employed and teachable.I don't carry debt and I am financially responsible. Baa-humbug to thinking that a *degree* is going to be the source of *protecting* ones winnings. It doesnt! And whos to say that everyone is made for college life? What about trade schools, the arts and simply living off the land

Texas Computerized Drawings
Quote: Originally posted by Todd on January 31, 2005MollyG: I am not ridiculing you, I am debating you. You have decided to post a poll on a subject, in which most people disagree with your opinion. I understand that makes you feel a certain pressure, but there is no need to say I am ridiculing you. That is not my style. I form opinions, and I try to back them up with fact-based arguments.Todd, maybe so, but I REALLY wanted ONLY Texans opinions...not interference from outsiders/other states

Texas Computerized Drawings
Quote: Originally posted by Todd on January 31, 2005MollyG,Too bad that you have decided to come out FOR computerized drawings, when you yourself said you have no preference. That is MY opinion. (USA!)One other opinion of mine is that Texas will NOT do whatever they want. They will only do whatever they want if there is more apathy on the subject, as NO PREFERENCE indicates. When everyone comes together in unison and votes AGAINST , and when lots of people get together and find every conceiv

Need some constructive help
I just checked my sales reports for the LP gift shop, and disturbingly there are practically no sales. I'm really scratching my head on this, because with all the regular visitors here every day, and frankly a lot of people saying this is their favorite web site, I would think there would be at least a few buyers. For me personally, if I'm really into something, and it's a part of my everyday life, then I would (and have) bought things that tout my interests (as well as providing financial sup

Are Computerized Lottery Drawings Truly Random?
Do you find yourself asking, Did I miss something? If you're closer to forty then twenty, the world you live in is no longer the place you learned about in school. These days just about everything is a cheat. Nothing you see advertised, on the news, etc. is exactly what it seems to be. If you've ever been a witness or an expert on something being reported, so much is wrong you're rolling on the floor or screaming. At least in the U.S.S.R. people had the luxury of knowing what the governmen

Should LosingJeff change his name?
OpenMinded:LosingJeff has given every possible effort to win the Pick-4 in Indiana. It's not my place to go into details; let's just say LosingJeff has paid his dues, and then some. In fact, I would say he's paid enough dues to make everyone on this forum a lifetime member... or... something. Those of you who live in states that still use ping-pong balls have no clue what we're facing here. There is a difference between games drawn with lotto balls vs. those drawn by RNG, but ping-pong-ball-state
