POLL: Randomeness vs predictability
The action of the draw gives each numbered ball a fair and equal chance of being drawn and the chance depends on how many numbered balls are used. In pick-3 games there are three draws and in each draw we have 1 chance in 10 of guessing which ball will be drawn. The results are always one 3 digit number from 000 to 999 and if we look at each drawing as a new event, we always have the same 1 in 1000 chance of guessing correctly. But even if look at it as a new drawing, there are still mathema

The 5 year countdown has begun, 12-21-2012
No i do not have proof i found out on the Internet by typing Mayan calender. There are many near earth asteroids. Supposedly that asteroid has already passed earth. Our government would never tell us far in advance of such and event that might cause the demise of our species. It will only be broadcast when it's been discovered by by some amateurish astronomer who will leak it to the press. Total world wide chaos will ensue. You wouldn't need social security but you might want to find a friend wh

Should one play if they have others feeding them
justxploring i can honestly say when i worked as a manager i put out more woman/woman fires than men/men fires. It seems the men usually work it out among themselves while the women tended to make it a company wide event facilitating some kind of disciplinary actions. And the temp workforce can be brutal many are on fixed incomes desperate to get as many hours as they could and they hated to see someone get picked for a permanent position over them especially if the temp is new. There are ma

Suggested QP VS Choosing Survey Project
MegaWinner - I don't think you are supposed to copy images from a State site. Anyway, last evening 10 Fantasy 5 winners hit and all ten used their own numbers if the FL site is correct. Thanks, Carbob. The second link doesn't work for me, but if I can always just go to the FL website. I still don't know if it matters, Coin Toss. In both cases (picking your own or QP) the player is betting on an event that hasn't yet taken place. If the picks were computerized then the computer might e

Georgia lawmakers question lottery bonuses
Not to defend the Georgia Lottery, but you should know a few things about odds and statistics. It's impossible to predict Pick 3 numbers because it's a random event, but the odds of triples being drawn is about 1 in 1000. That means with 2 drawings a day, you'd expect triples to come out about once every year and a half. And I'm not a fan of the higher and higher price points that Lotteries seem to be going to, but a number of high roller players seem to like them. Most of the time,

Wanting Lots of Stuff
ahem. I said it was a CUSTOM BUILT 10 million dollar home, far more expensive than a regular 10 million dollar home in a nice area because of all the extra and CUSTOM things that a regular home doesn't offer. Sound proofing, double layered brick, the steal ceiling, all the things that make it a safe haven from nature people the men in black aliens and myself. Extra large rooms, the athletic room, ect. I'm sure if you thought bout it you would want a nice, spacious, customized built hom

The Implications of Cracking the Code..
GASMETERGUY - Lottery is not a science. Lottery has nothing to do with logical reasoning. It has to do with events (drawings). Events that are not contiguous. Each event is unique unto itself and events that have already occured have no bearing on future events. I am sensing that some posters here seem to think the results of the first drawing has some bearing on the results of the second drawing and the second drawing has some bearing on the results of the third drawing, etc., etc. Su

Time and the Lottery Draw - The Connection
TIME and the LOTTERY DRAW --a crude speculatory primer-- - I believe that the Time Of Day may be a missing key to use with the various lottery method/systems. It may be important for the Pick 3/4/5 and for picking the right numbers for the Jackpots. When particular balls are drawn at a particular time, there is no other way, obviously, for any other balls to have been drawn at the that time. Time is like a portal. Each event, such as a drawn ball, has its own specific moment
