Well I really can't afford to play solo at the moment. I'm currently playing with a friend. The plan is he gives me a dollar for every other draw I buy a ticket for and I pay my own dollar for the rest. But I do see your point. Group pools don't always get enough out of it. Verification of the ticket only takes a few days max, if not hours, that number on the back of the ticket means a lot. I know of one jackpot winner who had their ticket verified within 3 days of informing their states lottery commission of their jackpot win. That was with one person, but ticket verification goes through the same thing whether it's one winner or fifty.
