Every Lottery Player Think About This For A Second...
I know about the pick3 in Pennsylvania. I would be quite surprised if such a scheme were still ongoing. Nevertheless, as an anonymous player (i.e. not the cheater and not the state), it doesn't affect me. My chances of winning are exactly the same because I pick numbers at random. I could randomly pick the cheated numbers just as easily as I could randomly pick the non-cheated numbers.
No, I don't know for certain that scratchers aren't rigged. But then, how do you know scratchers are rigged

Every Lottery Player Think About This For A Second...
Stop it with the silly accusations of rambling. What do you think rambling means? It's not what I'm doing. I am discussing one very specific topic.
Cheating other players in a draw game means choosing winning numbers that do not match player's numbers. Is that what he did? Query the computer right after sales cutoff to see what tickets other people bought?
No, he did not. He did not care what numbers other people bought. He only cared about making the RNG spit out numbers he chose in adv

N.J. Lottery retailer says $221M Powerball winner is bus driver who spends $60 a day on tickets
That's the way the US lotteries work.. Hype up the expected value of an annuity that you could buy with the cash on hand value to get public interest.. and then tax it as the annuity is paid out..
OR
Take the actual cash on hand and tax that.. leaving, as in this case, US$55m (and maybe less if that is just counting the federal withholding tax)
Meanwhile, current EuroMillions is at about US$186.3m. An American winning that would have to pay about US$69m.. leaving only US$117.3m (Fede

Money and the Crime of Kidnaping
While being physically harmed due to a large lottery win likely isn't a huge threat, I don't know what a more dangerous threat could be.
If you don't devote resources to reducing risk your chances of being harmed because you're rich add to the risks you had before you were rich, but mostly it's a small additional risk. What you apparently can't figure out is either what you said or how becoming rich affects the various chances of physical harm.

Maine winner of $1.3 billion Mega Millions jackpot will have to reveal identity in court battle
If I were the anonymous winner, I would definely drop the case
The are, or at least were, two cases, and I'm not sure it's about his case. He acknowledges that he told his father without requiring an NDA, so that alone might have ruined his entire case. If it's the countersuit from the wife then he can go to court or accept any settlement she proposes, and it sounds like she's got a real grievance.

You don't play and your numbers come in!
Well this happened to me...and what's worse I predicted it.
I would have played at least 20.00 straight Pick 3.
$10,000 missed.
Never really played but these 3 numbers appeared 3 different times in my working environment so I played here and there.
And what's worse...I got 2 warnings 3 days before...I was 1 off and didn't play...$25.00 lost on a $1.00 pick.
This combination has won every 2 years and October started the 2nd year and I didn't play.
Now I feel like I have to

Michigan $733,968 Fantasy 5 jackpot winner wins again, this time a $1M Millionaire Raffle prize
Lucky streak: second major win in just over a year
By Kate Northrop
As if winning part of a $733,968 jackpot in the Fantasy 5 draw game wasn't cool enough, one Michigan man won the $1 million top prize in the Michigan Lottery's Millionaire Raffle just over a year later.
Luck hasn't stopped flowing for one Michigan lottery player, who has now won the highest-tier prizes in two of the games Michigan Lottery has to offer.
The 47-year-old Michigan resident opted to remain anonymous w
