Powerball now behind on cash
US lotteries were annuity-only to support companies that would make money off of players' winnings. This corruption still exists, to a smaller degree (mostly in MA and NY).

pts vs physical playing
The real reason for not mailing tickets has to do with corruption in the Louisiana lottery. Lotteries had problems with large scale corruption since it was private parties selling tickets not state governments. Every state had banned lotteries because of this except Louisiana. Advertisements for the Louisana lottery would appear in other states and that led to the ban on mailing tickets.

Is the Lottery (PB/MM) corrupt?
When I think of corruption in state lotteries, I cite MA and NY as the prime examples, with their annuity-only (no cash option) scratch games. MA Megabucks' jackpot also is annuity-only.

Indiana lottery rigger faces 50-year penalty
Based on some peoples viewpoint, it is all the fault of tempation. The cure? Pay every lottery employee a minimum wage of ten million dollars a year. No one is immune to tempation, so take away the temptation. That is the answer to what would make the lottery immune to corruption.

There are a lot of Judases some where. I have learned to choose the battles I fight. The way to win the Texas corruption war is to make 'em go BROKE! Keep on suing, despite the fact there is a gag order. The more suits, the less they have to work with. The dollar drives.

Hoosier Lottery Does It Again
Thanks for the support 4 me! What really tics me off is how these so called elected officials turn their frigging backs to corruption! I have absolutely had it with this scam! I am telling you that if the Lottery hadn't broke me I would be moving to Kentucky in 3 seconds! You know, a State where common sense is the rule of the day! What is really difficult is both Jim and I spent the majority of our lives in the service. There, we learned honor, discipline and integrity! Then you come to this z

worst lottery in america
Sounds like the question should have been looking for a lottery with crediability. None mentioned seem to be someting to raise your children around - unless your goal for your children is corruption.
