It is safe... The new file extensions that Microsoft uses with their software throw anti-virus programs off with the extra x and its just because the files have xml encoding which also anti-virus doesn't like... Thanks, Pogo

I use Microsoft Word to build spreadsheets. For what I do it's sufficient. I developed my own system, which is really all about sorting and observing. Although I love math, I use no special formulas and no higher math. I sort and observe, sort and observe. Oh, and I color code based on number frequency. Color really helps me.

RL, I'm with you on the .DLL part. Its what got me to looking in the systems32 folder. Of course, I quit being an expert when they built the first pentium and started using hardware trackers........LMAO It's a strange thing. Never had one of your programs that would not run on the first try. Never had to fiddle with the NTVDM (NT Virtual DOS Machine) setting either. Like Steve said, and I did find, Microsoft had a KB release on NTVDM but no one seems to know what it was or why. That

After you download it you have to choose Enable Editing or Enable or Enable Content something like that. If you are using Microsoft Office 2010 or later it should be a yellow bar with a yellow button.

Sounds like some of Gail Howard stuff. I would check to make sure it will work with Windows 8 first. She's still selling some of her old MS-Dos software which stopped working when Microsoft stopped supporting Windows XP. I think she's just telling everyone to down load a copy DosBox and use it rather than updating her software for the newer versions of Windows.
