N.J. couple claims $70M Powerball jackpot
In some cases, not coming forward can make it a lot more difficult for yourself. When no one comes forward or does it secretely, this can create more of a firestorm. Many people are jealous of lotto winners. Neighbors and even family members. And with this day and age with the amount of media happening 24/7, its almost impossible to go from rags to riches and not have anyone notice. Sure you should tell almost no one when you hit big. But some PR people will tell you to do a press release and ke

Florida woman mistaken for lottery winner
Joshua, although most of what you said is in fact TRUE, there is a false assumption that you listed. Even if a person in FL files the claim under a trust, the FL lottery can and WILL release the sole proprietor of that trust aka; persons name. So a person can try and hide behind a company name all they want, but the FL Lottery will check out the owner of the trust, corporation, company etc and release the owner of that entity in their press release.

Lucky and unlucky Scratch-off ticket numbers
Oh! I agree so much with your feeling on BWS, they are bad. AND the 20x the Money....omg...#002, 003 and 004 = $0.00 and on another day: #009, #010 and silly me, #011 = nothing. I had reserve enough to not buy a 4th ticket in each case but now am wondering where it was when I decided to buy the 2nd and 3rd ticket each time. On other ventures, 20x the Money has given back either....$5.00 or $0.00 I did see a 5x symbol ONCE.....winning $25.00 Overall, I'm not impressed. I wish they wou

I've notice TN seems to release new ones each month. Mostly it is a $1, $2, and $5 game. And it seems to hit the first Tuesday of every month. Do all states do it this way?

Scientific Games sued a second time by Gameologist
If you think it was clearly a theft of intellectual property you clearly didn't understand what you read. This isn't a news article, it's a one-sided press release from a law firm that's attempting to publicize their client's allegations. As near as I can tell from this and their previous press release, their claim is strictly related to trademark infringement for uses of the word bling . Unfortunately for them, bling and bling bling were in popular usage well before they decided to get their tr

Georgia Trucker Claims Half of Record $390 Million Lottery Jackpot
ambelamba...you are half right. In California they will release your name. If you want to claim as an entity they require the name of a natural person who will get the funds which will be released. They do not release the city of residence but they do release where the ticket was purchased. One Does NOT have to go through a press conference. The most recent example of this was Richard Roberts who won a SLP jackpot in July of last year for $110 million. He declined the press conference saying

NEW FEATURE: Lottery Wheels Section
This new feature represents some of the most substantial features I have added to Lottery Post in the past year.I have tried to figure out how many hours I have put into this new Wheels section, and my best guess is approximately 280 hours. I have been working on this for a long time. The section is not complete, but has a complete framework for adding new wheel features in the future. There is full support for three wheel types:Full WheelsKey WheelsAbbreviated WheelsIn addition, I have created
