Lottery ticket sold in New York wins $431 million Mega Millions jackpot
That's a snip shame. New York is a BIG place and very popular so whoever won all this money is going to end up being begged for money from all over the United States...All States should do the Anonymous thing...

How long after doing Press Conference do you actually get the check?
I told about the Woman who lived in an Anonymous State and went to her Lottery Office expecting to be handed a Check for Millions only to be told that she had to wait 4 weeks for the check to be mailed and two more weeks for it to or be mailed to be mailed to her. How long after doing Press Conference do you have to wait for Check? I mean it would suck majorly to be constantly begged for money you don't even have yet...

Lucky for Life
Since they changed to daily, I only buy one on Sunday if I'm out and about. No way I'm increasing my spending by $10 a week to get in all drawings. So glad I didn't have any regular numbers for that game because I find it very hard to stop playing my regulars.
And now they're forcing us to buy the multiplier for Powerball. I think it might be time to make the trip over to Oregon or even Wyoming where winners can stay anonymous. This is ridiculous.

Missouri will allow lottery winners to remain anonymous
The bill reverses the state's longtime stance on using winner's likenesses as promotional material for the Lottery.
The Supreme Court just made a similar ruling that effects colleges from using the likenesses of athletes. Wonder if that might have the same effect on every state lottery and allow all winners to remain anonymous?

they reviewed the store's surveillance video footage to identify the woman who bought the ticket.
And why jackpot winners are never 100% anonymous.

Australian couple hid $100,000 lottery ticket in a safe for eight months
Apparently this couple had a lot of decisions to make.
If I win millions I'll have decisions and stuff to do that will take a while before I claim, but it won't take 8 months. If I win 100 and have the option of claiming the money without forming a new trust or LLC while still being able to remain anonymous I won't have any decisions that can't be made while th mney is already in my possession.

Anonymous UK winner claims £122 million EuroMillions jackpot
Would be nice - but like you said...not going to happen
They tried to pass anonymous in my state a while ago for big winners - never went anywhere.
