Lotto South or In-State?
Oh yeah you know I would be here Jimmy lol. I really think TN would do better with an Instate lotto because there would be more winners of $1 million+ here and I think that would be great. (A lot more ticket sales IMO) We would also have players from GA,VA,KY,MO,AR,MS,AL and NC everystate around us crossing the borders if the jackpot is doing well. (With lotto south people in GA,VA, and KY will stay home). The reason TN does so well is because we have major Interstates running through the s

Texas Schools Getting Bonus From Lottery
Public education has hit the jackpot with the Texas Lottery. Lottery officials say the state's online and instant games are raising billions for Texas schools.Like a lot of Texas Lottery players, Barbara Chongulia pays far more attention to how much money she might win than where the money she spends on tickets goes. It's fun. It's like buying hope, Chongulia said. I buy it everyday anyway, so it doesn't really matter to me. Since 1997, by state law, it goes to public education. Lottery offic

A punter from the NSW far north coast is $30 million (US$22.3 million) richer after winning the entire first division in last night's Powerball - the equal-biggest lottery win in Australia. Can trust be formed if you sign ticket?
I was at the gas station and about a month ago, as I recall, the gas station attendant told me that if an attorney claims the prize for you (I think that he called the method Power of Attorney ), the ticket can't be signed by you. The one Powerball grand prize that was claimed in trust (from the December 11, 1999 drawing) was claimed by a trustee who is a lawyer. But shouldn't you always sign your tickets? And what if the lawyer robs you blind???? I was just wondering, because you'll never k

Ohio Lottery's Nielsen ratings keep dropping
I been listening to the problems of Ohio for years, thru the paper, news, here. They hired a analysist firm to study the problem, and blamed the cause on many reasons, except the one important one, themselves. I agree that a multi state game would be good for Ohio, but it won't solve there problems. The way I see it is , there biggest problem is there not customer freindly. The biggest example to this is there play slips,THERE THE WRONG COLORS, they use a red and yellow, there hard to read.On the da
