Tennessee man misplaces his million-dollar lottery ticket, then finds it lying in a parking lot
person who lost the ticket, would never know it was me who found it... You know that being anonymous doesn't mean the lottery won't know who you are, right? And that for any substantial prize the lottery will be asking how you acquired the ticket, and that you'll be claiming that you're the rightful owner? That means you can admit that you found it and didn't try to locate the owner, or you can commit fraud and perjury hoping you don't get caught.

Tennessee man misplaces his million-dollar lottery ticket, then finds it lying in a parking lot
If I found a ticket in a parking lot and it turned out to be a multi-million dollar winner. I would not look for the person who purchased the ticket, I would keep it because most likely that person who be long gone from the parking lot like the guy in the article. If it was a QP, I would cash it in right away, if It was someone's personal pick I would think about what to do for a few days. I then would cash it in because in my state, I can remain anonymous and person who lost the ticket, would n

Michigan lottery club claims $1.05 billion Mega Millions jackpot
Here's a thought I had. Seeing that this lawyer is from Florida we know he didn't buy the ticket. I'm wondering if he could have negotiated to be the face of the club for a quarter of the jackpot. That way the other three get to remain anonymous.

Predicting winning numbers? Fact or fiction?
Spending $873 to brag about one ticket bringing in $50, then pretending he can't post any images of losing tickets because that never happens... Gambler's anonymous case if I ever saw one.

Lottery winners accepted by high society?
It's usually pretty widely known how some very wealthy people obtained/earned their fortune, so to ask them how they got their millions is kind of a moot point. Unless a lottery winner is able to remain anonymous, there's shouldn't be much of a reason to ask them either. Wealthy people are constantly asked for money. That's something they all are very familiar with. Anybody that thinks a jackpot winner needs to share it just because they won a fortune needs their head examined. G5

$731.1 million Powerball lottery jackpot won by single ticket sold in Maryland
Good luck to the winner. I hope they take their time and not rush into any decisions. Hopefully, the winner we get professional independent legal and financial advice. I hope Maryland allow winners to remain anonymous. If so, the winner should certainly do so.

How to stay anonymous in states with no anonyminity
That's a great plan for someone with no ties, but if you have someone you love in the area, either they go with you or going to a different state to hide won't work. I can think of legitimate reasons they wouldn't want to leave - like they've already built a professional practice in your area and they're not ready to lounge on your riches, or they have a parent or someone they want to stay in contact with. Then you'd need to find another way to stay anonymous.
