Mass Cash Season Ticket Winner
They have changed a lot of things at the MA Lottery since December 2019. Around a month ago the whole web site was redone and in my opinion (which is worth nothing) the new site is terrible. A person now needs sunglasses to help view the site.
The old web site was much easier on the eyes, at least my eyes ... it's also harder to find information that was much easier to locate on the old web site.
Last December 8th they changed the lottery draw machines ... they had really nice draw machine

WA lottery launches "My Lottery 360°"
There are some new changes with this new program or whatever you want to call it. Obviously most of you are not in the jurisdiction so it won't affect you directly.
There are changes occurring to the app and ticket scanning. Draw tickets are now printing out with a different barcode, similar to scratch ticket barcodes if not the same. Previously they were QR codes on draw tickets that could be scanned with the app. The QR code only contained the tickets number selection(s) and there was not a

NC man almost falls out of fishing boat upon learning of lottery win
Danny Bizzell bought a Cash 5 lottery ticket on July 12, gave it to his wife and went fishing.
He was in the middle of a lake when his wife, Sandra Dickinson, called to tell him he had won a $792,655 jackpot.
I almost fell overboard, Bizzell said Monday. I told her, 'Are you freaking kidding me?'
Bizzell bought the winning ticket at the Food Lion on North Rogers Lane in Raleigh, using the same numbers he's played for almost 13 years.
When I got my first Cash 5 ticket, I had the ma

Clerk Prints Tickets Wrong @ $54 Loss to me
I decided to purchase MegaMillions and Powerball tickets from a gas station that's in a small town right off of a two lane highway as a way of supporting them over the busier/bigger retailers in the city. I went in, didn't buy anything else, I said I wanted to purchase lottery tickets and started with a MegaMillions ticket for ten consecutive drawings with the megaplier and that it would be $30. She then moves over to the lottery screen and looks it at pressing buttons, doesn't ask me to clarify

Washington Lotto ticket generated with two identical quick picks
Mitch Tracy beat the odds with a recent lottery ticket, but it didn't turn him into a millionaire.
Tracy purchased the $1 ticket at a lottery machine in Spokane, Wash., and opted to let the Quick Pick feature choose his numbers.
As he was walking away, he realized he'd been given the same numbers twice.
You're supposed to get two lines for a buck, and both lines were the same numbers, Tracy said.
Officials say the odds of that happening are about one in 14 million, which is double t

South Carolina lottery winner where are you? $1.5B still unclaimed, and clock is ticking
My opinion on this is its the peoples money not the states.
There's exactly one person (or perhaps one group) entitled to the money and that's the person who owns the winning ticket. If they fail to claim it for some reason other people have no more claim on it than they have on any other property that person owns or is entitled to. Since the money came from the prize pool it would be nice if it was returned to players in some manner, but other players have no claim on it.
Sometimes the

I cracked MN lottery scratch off barcodes
To demonstrate the ability, send me a picture of the front and back of a fully scratched MN lottery scratch off ticket, but cover up 1/2 of the barcode. I will reply with the full barcode to demonstrate the ability.
Since I can do this with 100% accuracy I think it is the best place to start.
EDIT:
This matters because for instance if I were to duplicate the barcodes from any posted winning tickets I could go to the vending machine, scan the code twice and cash your ticket and you

Michigan man nearly turned down winning lottery ticket worth $416,000
A 40-year-old lottery player from Wayne County, Michigan, nearly walked away from a winning 100X The Cash Fast Cash ticket that ended up being worth $416,616.
I stop at the Citgo each day on my way to work to grab a couple things to get my day started, said the player who chose to remain anonymous. I had won a few bucks on some instant games, so I decided to buy a 100X The Cash Fast Cash ticket.
When the clerk printed the ticket, it jammed in the machine and almost ripped in half. I didn

Do you search out and check discarded lottery tickets?
I started checking discarded lottery tickets in late May when I chanced upon a discarded ticket at a grocery store that appeared to have a $5 bonus. The machine at the service desk showed it to be a $5 winner. Later that day I found a $2 winner and within a week I had a $50 winner.
Since my daily routine takes me past 7 convenience stores, I now stop in and check the discard bins next to scratch off game vending machines or at the kiosks where people scratch off their tickets.
I've learned
