OSH: You should buy a roll on release day. Its a little late now as all the losers have hit the stores by now. I like the $5 rolls because you can make nice profits. I always save the winners then scratch them one by one. Double hits first as they are $10 winners 99% of the time, then single hits (only chance for jackpot, but usually $5 or $10), then multiple matches or Double symbols and finally GOOD symbols like 10X or Win All I bought a roll of Green Gold once, had a Win All symbol. Any

Yes, no more top prizes in the $1,000,000 SEASONS GREETINGS game. Regarding other Florida scratch games: There should be another $5,000,000 winner soon on the 100X THE CASH game, based on the number of $1,000,000 prizes of that game that have been claimed (due to the groupings and $1M and $5M prize distributions - 39% of $1M prizes claimed and 25% of $5M prizes claimed). On the CHOCOLATE COVERED 7'S game, only 3 of 16 top prizes have been claimed, a low percentage compared to a

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Thanks for the clarification. Not sure what incentive the clerk will get out of it, but I know its 1% for the low tier winners. The article about the 20X The Money top prize winner is on the webpage: http://www.calottery.com/media/press-releases/press-release?Item={5128DE86-A641-4D1C-AE08-503AE57D8CD0}

California waiting for Mega Millions winner to emerge
There is no hiding, Lopez added. There is no anonymity. There is no claiming a prize as a trust. You will be known. Heh, heh...yeah, no hiding in Cali. They changed the rules earlier this year. The guy is probably trying to figure out how he can hide, but no such luck. Sorry Charlie. They'll probably release the store video of the suspected winner to the TV news in a few weeks/months to force them to come forward. CA lottery likes to do that.

I am pretty sure this is my grandmom last Christmas. I got her $80 worth and she started to scratch, but she wanted me to do them. She is too weak and barely knows my name. Turns out we got back $150. $5Tree ticket had 4-$25 symbols. $40 Aces and Eights(which I missed and found while scanning) and 2- $5 Match tickets. I made sure to take the tickets to get to my dad, so we didn't have to worry about a nurse or oderly taking them(she is in a home now) Hopefully everyone else has some luck on t

Pa. Gov. extends lottery privatization contract
Gov. Tom Corbett's administration will continue its examination into the privatization of the management of the Pennsylvania Lottery for two more months. The administration announced Tuesday that United Kingdom-based Camelot Global Services has agreed for an 11th time to extend its bid's expiration date, which was set to expire today. It now is good through Dec. 31. Camelot, the lone company to submit a bid, committed to generating $34.6 billion in profits to fund lottery-funded programs f

Should you win either JP: would you prefer a weekday or weekend win?
I started to reply to this last night but got sleepy. I don't think it would matter, at least not to me. It would take me a while to talk with a lawyer and accountant (actually several) , so the main thing I would worry about would be when to claim the JP. I'd have to drive to Amarillo to get the ticket validated, then fly to Austin to claim the money. A big worry would be if they'd release my name before I got a chance to get back home and batten down the hatches , so to speak. Even if I

$400 million S.C. Powerball winner to stay anonymous
There is a man in South Carolina who has been keeping a big secret for the past five days. Well, he did tell his dog. And, we assume, his wife. He's probably hoping his recent good fortune stays a secret, but this will be one mighty hard life-changing event to keep under wraps. South Carolina lottery officials said a man showed up at their office Monday with the winning ticket to last Wednesday's $399.4 million Powerball jackpot. In a news release, lottery officials said the man was
