So today I cashed in the $1025 winner and got my check from sheetz.
Feeling stoked (and lucky) I took $30 out of the ATM (I have no cash on hand usually... as my paychecks are direct deposited) and purchased
$10 worth of Match 6 tickets for the next drawing and a 20 dollar $1,000,000 Golden Ticket (#026) which hit for $20. I thought it would be a
nice hundo or something better waiting but eh.... for my luck on the $20 tickets I'll take it even if it is only face value.
I we

Weird Lottery experience...
Here in Ky. you can cancel a mistake pick 3 or pick 4 ticket within 20 minutes or half an hour
( I think it is )
Hold the bar code underneath the little light towards bottom of machine and hit the cancel button
Can't cancel a PB or MM ticket here though , but I buy mistake tickets all the time around here
If they called the police every time people around here , walked away from and would not buy a mistake ticket , the police would never get anything else done

instant scratch off ticket questions
I don't play scratch offs , but I will try and answer your questions
If someone in a store ( or anywhere ) , has told you something ( thus the questions you asked in this thread and the other one ) that you feel is not true , find a ticket checking machine on the counter in a retail store in the state anywhere that sells lottery tickets , hold the bar code on the ticket under there , and check it yourself ( and don't rely on people that you might not know to check it ( or to tell you wha

so my state now has online ticket sales here in australia
here they have had online for a while interstate. finally they bring it here. This is bad news for the retailers, who had to pay a hefty commission to get the terminals in their store. and are also embargoed form having a sales in low traffic locations, or near another terminal owner. When I say hefty, i mean in the realm of $40k to get the license to operate and machine installed.
anyhow some thoughts on the new system.
you fund thru credit card payments, yet the stores that sell them are

Hey JAMES - GIB - LONE RANGER - OLD SCHOOL - DUCKMAN and if I missed someone (too bad :) LOL - all I know is that at certain times there is a flood of GRT wins here. By ZIP ? I don't know. One time about two years ago the UPS guy just delivered one book of GRT to this small grogery store I stop by for the newspaper once in a while - they were out of GRT so this was their new book for the week. I bought it and boom a Nugget. Before I bought the book I asked where else was he headed ? He told me w

Why online lotteries should be permitted in ALL states...
Always use playslips filled out by yourself
It saves a lot of trouble for you and the clerk
There may be a few states ( Conn. being one of them I think ) , where they dont have the option of playslips. Though I never could figure why a state would not have play slips as an option also.
There are a few players around town here , that are notorious for holding up the lines at stores getting the clerks to punch in dozens and dozens of numbers . And then yelling

Has a clerk ever forgotten to give you your lottery slip back?
Oh and i should add that there is a 7 eleven near my house and I refuse to give them my business.
I played 5 slips all 50 cent any order and it printed out a $1 exact (the laser reader glitched)
And since I've been working in stores for 5 years, I know for a fact that it happens. The clerk refused to cancel the ticket and said how can it be the machines fault, the machine cant make errors - which really pissed me off so I put the ticket in his face and with a mad voice I said look at

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Not at all.
You can literally make something riduclously tiny like 1 or 2 bucks an hour (unless you've got a large bankroll and are very good, then you can make around 10 bucks an hour if you find the right machine). Card counting can give you a bigger edge, but obviously the casinos don't want you doing it and you have to be sure that you're doing it correctly, otherwise you will lose. I actually do most of my gambling with Poker, as I've been able to squeeze the most profit out of that

Just try a couple here and there maybe?...I watched one guy today buy 10 of the new Platinum tickets, I was waiting for my
turn but he just kept on sticking the money in and rubbing off the code box and scanning them...he kept money in the
machine to keep it to himself. Ticket after ticket was a dud - that's $200 down the drain for him. He didn't seem mad, he
just left, I bought one there after him and it was nothing too. A good one must've gone out earlier in that batch.
I did find
