A 123 million (US$140 million) EuroMillions jackpot win has been successfully claimed by a UK ticket holder who has chosen to remain anonymous, Camelot said.
The operator of the National Lottery confirmed the 123,458,008 prize won in the draw on June 11 had been validated and paid out.
It is the third biggest amount ever to be won in the UK and the fourth EuroMillions jackpot win this year.
Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at The National Lottery, said, What an amazing win the third

Man who won millions from lottery during divorce case must share
It is only fair IMHO. Just like the military where a Colorado Senator I believe had legislation passed that if you are married for greater than 10 years in the military and divorce, he or she automatically forfeits 50% of their retirement.
Now LP members, especially you legal types, had Michigan been an anonymous state, do you think he could have pulled a fast one and got away with the whole kit and caboodle?

Former tribal lobbyist named as new California Lottery director
California Gov. Gavin Newsom appointed Alva Vernon Johnson to take over the the state's lottery Monday, after former director Hugo Lopez stepped down Friday amid investigations.

Jerry Brown alleging misconduct among senior executives at sales conferences.

North Carolina retiree wins $344.6 million lottery jackpot using fortune cookie numbers
I don't want to sound like a broken record, but it totally crazy to publicize the identity of the winners of large jackpots.

Lottery winner can seek bigger prize at trial, judge rules
I think anything that potentially broadens the rights of players, especially where the state lottery causes the fraud, is a good thing.
Remember that the woman in New Hampshire with her lawsuit regarding anonymity, seems to have lit a fire on the broader issue of the right to remain anonymous in multiple states.

Wisconsin SuperCash $$
I'd like to know why the WI lottery doesn't video tape each drawing like they used to back when the draw was mechanical. I tried emailing rep Voss with that question but the email didn't go through for some reason. He's the guy who wants winners to remain anonymous. There's no reason why each drawing shouldn't be made public. Am I the only person who gives a $hit about this/
No winners in 3 months. I wonder why?

Arizona becomes latest state to shield lottery winners' names
The states that don't have anonymous laws are worried about transparency while the players are looking for invisibility.
Get rid of RNG games and they won't have to worry about if the game is rigged.
