Scamming store owner loses lottery license
Even though I live in a mostly rural area of KY, there is a large ethnic diversification among the various store owners. Recently a young couple named Patel purchased a gas/food mart/convenient store and both of them are business major grads. If I were to read where one the area stores was caught cheating, their store would be last store I would guess.
It depends on how comments are viewed and to me Noise was just commenting on the many lottery news stories about lottery scams involving a Pat

PrinceRene, and others,
There's nothing racist about Patel comments. Instead of jumping to conclusions, accusing others, and getting on the pc bandwagon just use the Search feature on top of the page and do a search for Patel.
See what you find.

Scamming store owner loses lottery license
I'm not a Patel or part of the Indian community. I don't need to be. My race or ethnicity doesn't matter in order to call someone out on spreading stereotypes.
What the F does crossing the border got to do with folks who are scamming innocent people of their money?
You missed my point and I made it clear as day. The article talks about a store owner scamming someone and you bring up a stereotype about Patel, a common Indian surname. Then I bring up an example of someone getting arrested fo

New multi-state lottery game launches Sunday
will debut this weekend in some U.S. states.
This is a odd way to start. Bobby Patel said i couldn't buy a ticket until Tuesday which i thought was strange until his cousin Michael Patel confirmed it.
Good catch Mediabrat.

2 charged with extorting cousin over stolen Florida Lottery tickets
Risheenbhai Patel brought it on himself by stealing the $5,000 worth of lottery tickets in the first place.
And Ketan Patel went overboard in his demands for retribution.
But you have to admit, Ketan would have to sell a helluva lotta Jumbo Pineapple/Coconut Squishees to make up 5 grand.

The New Mega Millions Game - So Do You Like It Or Not?
If I play a combination of Mega Zip online at thelotter, it might cost me 2.50 dollars against 1 dollar with Patel somewhere in the US.
Saving Patel while buying a ticket online, it should cost maximum 75 cents to my opinion.
What do you think?

Prize money awarded to rightful lottery ticket holder
Has this guy done something before, or are you guys referring to the name Patel in general?
I'm actually glad they didn't reveal HOW they caught this fool. More people will be caught if they try this as well.
But if Patel had signed the ticket I wonder if they would've caught him? bearer instrument right?

N.Y. man will use lottery winnings for retirement
Congratulations to Mr. Johnston.
So happy to hear about his win.
Now, I am going to sit back and wait for it............The market is the region's top lottery seller and according to Patel sells more than 90 types of lottery games. Patel said Johnston, who was a regular lottery customer, was one of 33 people who bought that same game that day.

Perps exposed by security integrity testing program
A grand jury in Louisville, Kentucky, has handed down indictments against four individuals charged with state lottery fraud. One of the four is also charged with providing false information to state lottery investigators.
The Kentucky Lottery Corporation's (KLC's) security department launched an Integrity Testing Program in March of this year. The program's goal was to determine if store clerks were following procedures for cashing winnin
