Hoosier Lottery...worse than you thought!
Good to have someone continuing the fight against corruption is lotteries. But at the same time, make sure to praise lotteries that do things right. If you don't, you might inadvertantly make all lotteries look bad.

MM annuity equivalent in PB: $93M.
This is not generally the case. When Argentina experienced hyperinflation in the 1980's from policies rather like those of our present government, excessive spending for non-productive purposes and to service massive gov't corruption, people who held overseas investments did OK. In fact, they were able to live extremely well in Argentina because they had access to foreign exchange. I note that before the 1980's, Argentina was considered financially unassailable. If I won the lottery I would i

I need help!!
Make sure you enter the password in upper case or lower case exactly as when you entered them originally. You might want to try a program like this, to make sure of your exact password?http://www.password-studio.com/unlock/article_microsoft_word_password_recovery.aspx?afl=10231Too late this time, but always make extra backups. File corruption is always a possible. There are options to using a password, such as allowing read-only. Maybe that would help you next time - or maybe it isn't of any value

Maryland Lottery a case study in the science of random numbers
That TN scratcher alert thread on the Lottery Forum seems to say just about anything that needs to be said about the security of lotteries, potential for insider knowledge of algorythms, human weakness, and the chances of anyone coming out to explode things in the courts if they have hard evidence of corruption. We just buys our tickets, makes our best guesses, and hopes. All anyone can do, come the end of the day.Jack

110 $100,00 WINNERS !!??
ABC news also reported overnight that the numbers many of those 5+0 winners used came from a particular batch of fortune cookies. That's the simple explanation for what happened. Looks like there was no corruption, conspiracy, or inherent flaw in the game or the way it's run.aye'

Is This Weird or What?
I was looking at the CT Lottery site, and I saw their name, but it loked like Connecticut Lottery Corruption instead of Connecticut Lottery Corporation. Isn't that just the funnist thing? I';ve heard of subliminal messages, but this is rediculous.

computerized Draws How Can This Be
If the sales numbers are comparable between the states, corruption could be a factor. Haven't heard too many people expressing confidence in the Indiana Lottery.
