Are you having problems??
BobP, the reason it is saying you must do a clean install is certainly because you're trying to install a 64-bit version of Windows 7. Also, to do an upgrade I believe you have to start the install from within Windows -- not boot from the install disc or USB stick. Scratch that. I looked it up and I guess Microsoft does not allow an upgrade from XP to Windows 7 that preserves your files and programs. Here's a link to Microsoft's instructions: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/help/upgr

Are you having problems??
I agree, but IE has gotten a lot better recently. IE11 is very good, and Microsoft continues to make good decisions on their browser development, so I'm expecting the next version to be even better. Choice is good!

New York: 7/1 - 7/31/2014
This stuff cannot be done on a phone since it does not have the microsoft office suite software. You need a physical computer. My laptop is not working so I am purchasing a new one month end. I still track the numbers daily at work when I get a chance.

Is VersaBet Down?
Certain versions of Windows 7 could run anything that ran in Windows XP in its virtual machine mode but I don't know if that option is still available now that MicroSoft stopped supporting Windows XP.

Is VersaBet Down?
When I looked at the website a few years ago, VersBet looked like a DOS program and with MicroSoft pulling the plug on Windows XP last month all such programs ended on the web. They also won't run on Windows 8 or later.

New twist to lottery scam
I would love to get called for one of these scams, recently I had the old Microsoft Tech Department or whatever they choose to call themselves scam call a couple times and went along with it for a good 30 minutes before I couldn't take it anymore, the Indian guy on the other end wasn't happy.

With today's operation systems of 64 bits what you remember doing yesterday doesn't mean much. You have to be continuing to relearn to keep up. With MicroSoft no longer supporting Windows XP in a few days a lot of stuff people learned years ago with have to be relearned to use the newer versions of their programs.

lotsoftpro
I noticed in one of his post last year Paurths said the language used to write LotSoftPro was no longer supported by Microsoft so maybe he decided to do the same until he updates it.
