They have to make these games way harder if they want to survive. 1 in 300 million odds is a joke. It should be 1 in 500 trillion at least. Even then it would still be way too easy to win for some.

Sometimes I read the posts where people say the lottery is crooked and stacking the deck. It's easy to say no they don't need to do that, the odds are high enough in the games to keep them from needing to put their thumb on the scale. And then PA turns around and does something in their app that certainly appears to have zero benefit to the user, makes it harder for the casual user to benefit from it, and as hypersoniq and Justing618 said seems to be nothing but shady. Disappointing to be sure.

Returned tickets have odds that are just as crummy as any other lottery tickets, so I wouldn't buy them just because they were returned (printed by mistake or the would-be player didn't have enough money). What retailers should do, like any retailer with excess merchandise, is offer them at 50% off. I'll buy them.

Found a thread from 2011 where math and logic of the 24 recently drawn numbers could have produced a MM Jackpot when the game was 5/46 + 46. However there is a huge difference between 5/46 and 5/70 games and of course the odds of at least one number repeating. BTW, the thread is 38 pages, but many of the more knowledgeable past Lottery Post contributers posted there.

When reviewing the above Due Pairs charts remember that the 'Times Drawn' column is important as well as the due pairs. example: if a due pair has been out for a 100 draws but only appeared 2 times out of the past year then this lowers the odds for that pair. I like to analyze both columns and also see how many times the pair appeared in that same month of the previous year.

I suspect that Florida 1) doesn't think M4L will fly at $5 a ticket; 2) doesn't need a game with nearly identical odds as Florida Lotto yet a sad bottom line compared to Lotto; and 3) They might be trying to salvage the Jackpot Triple Play game by stretching it out to seven days a week. And, one extra Lotto drawing would more than replace M4L revenue and income. For the life of both games, Lotto has grossed $3.4M per draw after paying out prize money- C4L only $113K.
