Predicting winning numbers? Fact or fiction?
Said they was buying the majority of the odds. They aren't buying up all the odds. They aren't even buying half the odds. MrB showed how many of the odds was bought and it wasn't even 10%. The higher the jackpot goes, the more tickets are bought, but it still doesn't cover all the odds. The odds are what they say they are for a reason. Do you know why the odds are what they say they are? People have been making things go from illogical to how'd they do that for centuries.

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
After looking at the emergency rule, there are a few observations: They added a $250 prize which is a nice middle tier prize. The $500 prize odds appear to be 1 in 179 which is better than the current $600GR of 1 in 197. They achieve these two changes by the following: there is no second chance raffle like the original Gold Rush family which dipped into the prize pool. They eliminated the entire $5,000 prize tier. The odds of winning $1,000 go from 1 in 3,333 in the $600GR to the new odds of

Hoosier Lotto going to $2
You know they're trying to pull a fast one when they say better odds . That's just an outright lie. That could be true, better odds , doesn't mean the jackpot will be easier to win but in most cases the overall odds are better which means the lower prizes are easier to win. Most players are willing to play more often if they win a dollar or two once in a while. Ohio recently added a $2 game lucky for life , a 5/48+1/18 game with overall odds of 1:7.7 and a fixed jackpot $1000 a week for

$400 MILLION: Mega Millions lottery jackpot soars
Funny how some players look at the odds of winning the PB and MM jackpots. The odds of winning the PB jackpot are 1:175,233,510 per $2 ticket with odds of 1:32 of winning a prize. The odds of winning the MM jackpot are 1:258,890,850 per $1 ticket with odds of 1:15 of winning a prize. Buying two $1 MM tickets for $2 reduces its odds of winning a jackpot to 1:129,455,425 with odds of 2:15 of winning a prize.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
The odds are 45 to 1. Most of our math gurus don't really understand gambling and they figure odds as chances to win compared to the total possibilities. The same gurus will say the odds are 46 to 1, but then quote Roulette odds as 37 to 1 because they read it somewhere. The probability of 25 numbers having a five number match is 71 to 1, yet in every drawing several thousand groups of 25 numbers will have five consecutive five number matches. I'm pretty sure that getting 14.2 to 1 odds

Will anyone ever be able to put the Mega Millions odds of 5 + 1 Jackpot of 1 in 175'711'536 aside?
Regarding Keith Flash's New Book Mr Lotto: Opinions? Aside from using lucky birth dates, anniversaries, and other majical numbers selection processes, can anyone put aside the 1 in 175 711 536 odds and play using a system that's not based on the odds? It's daunting to think that matching all numbers drawn have to be weighed against those logical odds. To be frank, when I play I don't even think of the odds. I think of win and loss percentages dating back to the inception of the Mega Millions

Can It Be Done??
Maybe its not small at all. We think its small, because we're thinking about the odds. This is the left-brained path , which has its place and can be very helpful. There is also the right-brained path , because everything has its dual. The right-brained path doesn't bow too deeply before the 'god of odds'. To begin to understand anything about any thing, we have to see it in relationship to everything else. When we call something high, its because the thing that is next to it is low. When we

20 Years and Never Hit
that's because of the high odds against the player. sometimes it's a good thing that you don't win the jp. Think about it. Bad things can happen that have high odds, and we are greatful they don't happen. getting hit by lightning is about 5 million to one, but we're glad we don't beat the odds in that case right? Geting into a fatal car accident is high odds and we're glad we don't beat those odds too right? many other examples like this, so be greatful that there is a good reason not to beat

Scratcher's Odds
They divide the total amount of tickets by winners. For eaxmple: If there were 500,000 top prizes in 2,000,000 tickets, the odds would be 1:4. With scratchers however, there is a catch. At the start, the odds of winning a top prize were 240,000, but when one(or two or three) of them is claimed the odds change. As prizes are won the the original odds(1:240,000 in your case) are no longer true. Edit: I said total amount of tickets by winners , but since we're talking about just top
