Woman denied $43 million jackpot, offered steak dinner instead
There never was a $43 million jackpot on that machine so the amount on the printing ticket message was an obvious malfunction. Below that is says remove ticket and seriously doubt the machine printed out a ticket valued at $43 million. But when she came back the next day to find out the exact size of her jackpot, a casino employee crushed her excitement. The screen showed the payout amount and said remove ticket so why did she come back the next day to find out the exact size of her winn

Today 8-11-2016 marks an end to NY's game 596 1 million a year for life
If they decide to come up with this game again it would be Lower odds like the spectacular vs 20$ life which including some it changed 3 times! They might not change the jp amount if they increase the odds of winning. Some retailer will sell broken tickets meaning out of order that is a reason it was never won! Can they return broken tickets? When you have broken ticket book you have a greater chance the ticket will get misplaced! Also retailer do put a scratch able ticket in the ticket display

California Scratcher results pics suggested A
oops I did it again. i spent more than i planned and failed to use any strategy, just impulse buying, with terrible results. yesterday evening I went to one of my locations I'll call location #1 a drugstore vending machine with a hi ticket turnover. The machine goes throught a 20$ pack of 30 tickets every 3 days while location #2 of the same drugstore will take 2 months to sell a 30 ticket pack. I purchased two extreme green #13 and #12 both losers. then I bought two max million #6 and #7 bot

A crazy lottery story
This morning I purchased two lottery tickets for this week's Mega and Power from a vending machine. They were quick picks. The computer definitely generated two sets of numbers but the printer jammed and no tickets were printed. When they opened the machine and pulled out the ticket paper it was all blank. There was just a young kid working there who knew nothing. I have since been told that the computer will void the first ticket that jammed but the second ticket (the powerball) should print as

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Skeptic, I am sorry to hear that as well. I wanted to weigh in on how lousy the Texas Lottery was as well. The other day I was buying a $20 ticket called 100X. Anyway, I purchased them from a machine and spent $220 (that's right, 11 freaking tickets ). So, on the 12th ticket I won $100 and I go cash it in. This nosy man says What did you win? I said I just won something small . He looks at the machine that tells how much the prize is and says If I were you I would be happy with $100 . I just ign

Just for fun: You have the clerk slide your playslip through the machine and it has a hiccup..
This happened yesterday to a guy in front of me- he handed the clerk his PB slip with 2 lines, the clerk slides it through the machine, hands the ticket back to this guy and waits for the printout to emerge, well 5 seconds pass and the clerk asks the guy for his slip once more to run it through...well, out comes 2 tickets, the machine had to have recorded the ticket when it went through the first time, by running it once more- it produced another ticket, same numbers. The clerks said he was sorry

NY lottery winner contemplates moving to Paris
i would agree with your theory here if the son had purchased a powerball or megamillions ticket on a day when people would be lined up to buy them. but, a scratch ticket was probably sitting there unbought for a longer period of time just waiting for someone to step up and purchase it. suprised the masses on here haven't jumped on you yet for suggesting the son deceive the father. even despicable as i am wouldn't resort to that. after all it was the fathers money that purchased it. selecting a w

NY deli owners stole $1M lottery ticket, cops say
I have a similar story, a few months ago I bought a five or six scratch tickets right around the corner from where I live. (I won $132 all together on four of the tickets). I went back in to the store to get them cashed. The woman scanned the tickets, then told me: You won $112.00 I said: No I didn't, I won $132.00 Then I rattled-off to her what each ticket was worth. Then she gave me some stupid lie about she forgot to scratch off the code on one. This was right after she scanned th

Why is it that when checking your losing lottery tickets- the machine always says " Sorry"?
I've seen both messages, Sorry, not a winner and Not a winner on the same scanner so it might depend on the game. We have self serve vending machines and a losing ticket will show a red box, but if the ticket was previously scanned and paid, the red box will have a line through it. I thought it would be funny if the message said Did you really think we would pay twice? . For winning tickets, there is an option to add the credits, but only tickets can be purchased with the credits so if you do

Does anyone use the lottery machines to check if you have winning tickets?
Did you read the post at all? I said I knew I only matched the mega number. Why would I think the ticket was worth $2 million for matching the mega number? yeah, it was only 2 lousy dollars. Who are you Bill Gates? Next thing you're going to tell me is $2 is nothing and you wipe your behind with 100 dollar bills. My point is that the machine isn't 100 percent reliable 100 percent of the time and to check the ticket yourself. Telling people my experience was only to illustrate the machine c
