North Carolina Scratchers
So I found a vending machine with the old 2500 a month games. I've been buying them for the last 2 weeks. Started at #39 and now at 28. So far only won 15 dollars, should I buy the rest or buy 3-4 at a time. 2 weeks and only 10 cards sold

Supermarket chain accused of allowing lottery sales to minors
Here in Arkansas, you have to swipe you ID before you can use a lottery vending machine. It would cost money for them to switch the machines out, but it seems like a simple solution to their problem.

The Lottery Machine Ate My Ten
I never buy from vending machines. If I go in a store and see a machine, I'm off to another store to buy my scratchers.

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
Around here everyone is still stocking the blues. I wanted to get a new one -- I play every type of scratcher until I get a loser, gotta see if they're lucky right? -- but no one had any. I saw a vending machine with the new label, and right before I walked up an employee stocked it with the blues! Dunno if I should be mad about the misrepresentation or consider myself lucky I noticed.

Is it a scam by a lottery to end the game when half of the top prize still available?
It is intentional. Last year I had a machine run out of paper and they opened it up; at the bottom is where they kept all the ticket paper and a box with new books of scratch-offs. I have seen some snack/soda vendors do the same thing with vending machines.

Buy lottery tickets from same location or different everytime?
There's 5 locations I buy from depending on where I am and what I'm doing. Sometimes I buy from other places, but for the most part, from this small group. I also use a lottery vending machine sometimes.

That being said, this game is still worth buying a few tix, at least until the appeal of a new game wears off. With each passing month, I'm beginning to like scratchers less and less. I'm certainly not going to be standing at the scratcher vending machine pumping in $5 bill after $5 bill hoping to get that top prize. People do that with the $10 and $20 tix and before you know it, they're out $100 in a matter of minutes.
