Those who play alot of numbers
Funny thing about NY Lottery Numbers (3 way) they REPEAT alot in the last 30 days. I have tracked them to an average of about 25 a month. And yesterday I missed out on a hit as I didn't play (long story look at post in NY 3way). I find it easier to ADD in the possibility of a repeat than TAKE out numbers. And they will repeat multiple times in a month also. The 302 has hit the following times
302- 10/7
032 - 10/3
320 - 9/26
230 - 916
we even get ST8 repeats in the same day. On 9/8

SCANDALS, MONEY ,GREED ,LYING ,BANKERS. #'s That will hit WORLDWIDE.
Yes I caught it for .50 cents boxed for the midday and won $200.00 ( 4/08/09)
I also won $5.00 Boxed tonight on 4936 for $1,000.00
It's a great feeling to hit both pick 4 numbers in one day
I am targeting 5522 Box. I am playing it .50 cents boxed multiple times on seperate tickets EVERYDAY until it hits. A .50 cents boxed hit on 5522 will pay $400. I cant wait to win big on 5522 BOXED

Are there limits to the amount one can win on a drawing
RJ is right that PB (and all other jackpot games) have a contingency to deal with an unusually high number of winners. Normally it's only the jackpot that's paid on a parimutuel basis, but they can do that at any prize level. When 100+ people won the 2nd prize by playing fortune cookie numbers a few years ago MUSL decided to pay the full prize to everyone, but that's not a guarantee they'll always make that choice. I expect that individual states can choose parimutuel even if MUSL prefers the fu

Woman claims Publix cashier threw away winning lotto ticket
I also realize 3131 **STRAIGHT**and/or BOX is the # I reccomended for SCANDAL. As I pointed out it's a $400.00 payout for .50 cents boxed. Any winning ticket $600 or UNDER can be cashed in at ANY Local lottery store. Some people will tell me why play .50 box and win $400.00 when you can play $1.00 box and win $800.00? I will tell them Listen if you play .50 cents box two times on seperate tickets it will cost a total of $1.00 to play. ( .50 cents + .50 cents = $1.00 ) . Each winning .50 cents box

Developing a winning MegaMillions System
I am sorry but the word system implies something that works together for a common purpose (think of a computer system or a highway system) and the times when there are problems with said system are an anomaly. If there was/is any such thing as a winning MegaMillions/Powerball/name your lotto system , then that would imply that those who implement it would have recurrent resounding success at winning said lottery jackpot, and it would be an anomaly to not win. Obviously, that is not the case as o

I think I woke up the neighbors LOL
I would have won something 2 more times this week (and it's only Wed) had I continued to play my numbers. I didn't. I'm not trying to knock the people who promote using systems, but reading so much that numbers don't repeat and how low numbers rarely get picked, etc. has influenced me. I should have kept playing the same numbers. The winning numbers on Monday were 2-7-8-10-19 and tonight were 2-6-8-11-19 It's true that this isn't common and that the payouts were lower because of multiple wi

9/26 Powerball statistical anomoly
The 9/26 Powerball drawing was for a set of high numbers: 25, 27, 31, 44, 54 PB 8. This set of numbers would be expected to produce statistically expected frequencies for various win categories. That is, there is nothing in these numbers that should produce statistical aberrations, especially since that are high numbers. In this drawing, the Match 4 + PB category had 256 winners which was way above the statistical expected frequency. We would expect something much closer to around 30 winn

A&E lottery show
You've basically suggested a pick 15 game where there are 36 digits to choose from instead of 10, and that's a much grander scale than any existing lotery game. It's a good analogy, but the actual numbers make the numbers in PB or MM look small.Extremely small. The chances of getting a specific outcome in that game would be 1 in 221,073,919,720,733,357,899,776. You're about 1,258 trillion times more likely to pick the right combination in megamillions. So why is it still a good analogy? Becau

Do these stats hold true for other 5 draw lotto games besides CA's F5
In approximately 21 draws out of 100, or 1 draw in every 5, 4 of the 5 numbers selected will have been drawn in the last 6 draws. In approximately 5 draws out of 100, all 5 numbers selected will have been drawn in the last 6 draws. In earlier research from about two years ago, I had read a few sources that said statisticians figured out a long time ago that that was a very good way to significantly increase your chances of winning by only picking from a limited subset of numbers, not all 39.
