My husband's brother won the lottery but hasn't offered to help us out.
A simple explanation is pride. Many women do not understand that to men, pride is everything! If they have always been close then my guess would be that the brother has repeatedly offered financial assistance to his brother but, the brother keeps turning him down. He knows that if he ever needs any money all he has to do is phone him. It is possible that they have not always been close. Maybe something happened between the two that the wife doesn't know about. Maybe her husband wronged his

My husband's brother won the lottery but hasn't offered to help us out.
There are a few details missing to the article that would be a bit more helpful in making a reasonable reply. I do like Prudence's reply about asking.............. If I had that kind of relationship and going through the hard times as siblings, I personally would make darn sure that my brother got $10 million after taxes. I hope the wife doesn't find out that the brother gave her hubby $$ towards the business that failed without her knowing(some scenario similar to that) Just my 2 cents

Former lottery security employee guilty of rigging $14.3M drawing
The article says It's believed to be the first prosecution of a person accused of tampering with lottery equipment to manipulate a draw . However, this is not true. It happened twice in PA, back in 1980 with the famous triple 6's 3 digit draw and again in 1988 when a computer tech working for a lottery contractor programmed the a computer to print out a lottery ticket in a store where his friend worked for a $15.2 million lotto jackpot in the Super 7 drawing that was about to expire. The lottery

Prosecution rests in Hot Lotto trial
I think I read an earlier article where Tipton said he had to be beyond genius to pull this off,we shall see.The Last thing l want to see is a gullible jury. There wasn't a genius in this case since no one got the cash. If Tipton did try to pull this off and was willing to engage so many peoples to avoid detection he would have been stupid to buy the ticket himself.

Prosecution rests in Hot Lotto trial
So far, l see no smoking gun as well. Folks who were on the stand were saying the person who purchased the ticket walks like Tipton, talks like Tipton - but the prosecution did not have a warm body saying That when l looked into the whites of this person's eyes at the counter, it was 100% Tipton in the flesh . I think I read an earlier article where Tipton said he had to be beyond genius to pull this off,we shall see.The Last thing l want to see is a gullible jury.

Would you claim your Jackpot winnings through a Trust or Not?
You've made this comment before and you are still posting misinformation. And yes, Mikeintexas he has said this multiple times and never backs it up with any proof. Please Jjtheprince, post just one article where a lottery winners social security number has been published. Just one. Or one that has posted someone's street address and date of birth.
