Should one play if they have others feeding them
Do you think one should spend money on food while receiving food
TnTea, can you explain the title to your poll question?
If one can't buy food with their food stamps, what should they buy with them? You obviously comprehend your half-brained comments better than most. People should mind their own business about their money. If it doesn't bother you that politicians spend more tax dollars on useless pork, it shouldn't bother you that someone on assistance uses their money for wasteful t

Quick Picks can't match the power of Self Picks
No, actually you are another who isn't understanding the point being made. You need to read and COMPREHEND the subject matter. The statement:
but what you're also missing is that even $50 per drawing gives you statistics that are meaningless in a game with half a million or more combinations.
is a meaningless irrelevant statement to the subject at hand.
Have you heard of an election poll ? How are polls done? Do they call everybody? No they don't, they take a sample. They der

Let's play "What if"...
Not exactly a poll, but what if you made a big score on a lottery game, any game, that isn't your favorite game or a game you usually play?
Would you switch to that game, would you only play that game, or would you think that was nice and continue to play your favorite game, even though it's never payed you anything close to this kind of win?
Let's say you play your state Pick 6 and the prize is usually between 2 and 10 million, but on a whim you play a Win for Life scratcher, and win $5

POLL 1 of 3: Computerized drawings vs. ball drawings
Interesting poll Todd,
As much as I love the balls I cannot see anything wrong with computerized drawing as long as the system truly is a random system. I have been browsing around a bunch lately and have seen some pretty wacked out ideas for drawing numbers which include stock markets and currecny exchange which just seems bizzare to me, if anyone knows more about this please enlighten me.
Drawing balls I feel will always have a (dare I say it) romantic appeal to it that can simply not be

Carbon Tax on lottery ticket purchace?
Were already overtaxed as it is. How about this if the states keep taxing us we should charge them a fee for purchasing lottery tickets and other things.
We already pay a carbon tax when we buy fuel.
Where did you come up with this silly poll.
I will never pay another cent more for lottery tickets then what they charge now. If however they increase the payouts or odds i might. But I'm not holding my breath for that to happen.
who you calling fools

I need your help TODD
I always look at the predications for my state nc when i play pick 3. I like to look at the predications, but i have noticed that you can predict for all states at once. I would like to see this changed and you have to actually post for each state seperate!!!
I am not sure, but others might. I don't care about predications status and who has the highest predication totals.
It makes it easier for me to pick my numberss if they are just for my state and not for all states!!

Who would you....
The poll as written is rather, well . . . strange to put it politely.
With a decent size jackpot, I would probably give more to others or to charities than just about anyone here. But like most others, I chose myself because in so doing I could apportion my gift to various people in relation to the amount I felt they needed to bring their standard of living up to a reasonable level. I could also control the timing of gifts for those who would be unlikely to manage their money well. In

Moral Question: Doctor or Lottery Winner?
Asking does a wealthy doctor have a moral obligation to perform free surgery is a legitiment question but suggesting that a random Lottery Winner has the moral obligation to pay the wealthy doctor after the wealthy doctor refused is silly.
Or a random Lottery Winner?...............Say both have a net worth of 30 Million for the sake of this poll.
Are you planning on making of list of all Lottery Winners and all people with a net worth of $30Million, put the names in a hat, draw a name,
