Is Pool Depth Copyrighted?
Hi Carbob,
The reason I ask is that I did a search (entire history) for this here and only received a couple hits.
Dan Hudson's has a Pick 3 book that explains Pool Depth.
This should explain it:
PENNSYLVANIA EVENING PA3E POOL

Powerball & Megamillions Growing
I already accounted for the difference. Assuming that sales for this run match sales for the run that created the 365 million jackpot there would be almost $50 million cash for the jackpot prize pool. Increasing the annuity value by $90 million would require about $42 million. That would leave close to $8 million for the bonus pool (about $15 million if it were annuity, which is where the 105 in my last post came from). Advertising a jackpot of more than 365 could increase sales, but even MUSL i

Powerball & Megamillions Growing
Actually, the bonus pool will have only $2.3 million to $4.7 million, because it is all cash and not annuitized like the advertised jackpot is.

Syndicate
The UK Lottery Council http://www.lotteriescouncil.org.uk/ is a private membership of fundraisers and is NOT a government commission nor in a position to sanction any syndicate scheme in any meaningful way.
The UK lottery enables and provides support for pool play, they don't sanction any pool.
There are a number of pyramid schemes with a lottery aspect. They promise to provide you with an income if you can con enough suckers into the scheme to cover more then your own playing costs.

Just curious, but does anybody know...
I took over management of the lottery pool where I work. Whenever the Powerball Jackpot got above $70 million, most of us would throw in $5.00 each for a total of about $50.00. The guy who use to run the pool would just buy a bunch of quick picks, that is untill I showed them how to win at least $3.00 with a minimum of only $42.00, guaranteed. How many people know this trick, or is this too elemental? You'd be surprised at just how many people don't know.
