Lottery sales at retailers 'almost pandemonium'
the one lottery retailer that is a block away from my home decided to by pass the madness. They unplugged the machine and have a sign outside saying: Sorry Lottery not working. Try XYZ. (insert near lottery store).
The cashier at the store said...These people don't even come in to buy other things, the line got long and deterred our other paying guest. So the manager made the decision. I conveyed back. To my recollection the PERSON is BUYING - a Lottery ticket, you get a cut win or lose. SO u

Tired of loosing?
That's Funny Kelsey.
If I were to do what you suggest, I would begin by putting the $9.99 that you just gave everyone in a jar. The only problem for me is that I rarely play for real. I am not ready yet, so at the moment, keeping track of and actually putting $ somewhere seems like an unnecessary bunch of hard work.
I'm looking a 2+ gallon jar with about 5 years worth of change. I'm going to let that be my Stash and go round up about another quart of loose change scattered around my house

I have a question about he odds (math)
Hi Everyone.
So since I've never been good at math I would like to ask a question here. A chance to win a 6 number (1-69) is around 1 in 14 million. Could someone explain to me how it is so? The draws are not played in numerical order no matter what number comes first, second... Like if I pick 1 2 3 4 5 6 and the machine draws 2 4 1 5 6 3 that means it is a winning ticket. So can someone explain how does it come to 14 million?
And I know the chance is 1 in millions to win I am just trying

Georgia Team Players Post Pic 4"S Here
Wow 4694 because 9464 was read off to me this week from someone at the machine. I didn't buy tickets just wrote them down. Well I guess I will just have to play that number tonight! Thanks for telling me that!
Also it was in 2 different rows of numbers read off to me tonight, but not in that order. Just FYI
Also that 1926 was the first 4 numbers in my powerball ticket.
I guess now the qps will start looking more normal and not all crazy. I was told that was a sign a triple or

Connecticut Lottery to re-draw raffle Tuesday
The Connecticut Lottery Corp. has set Tuesday at 11 a.m. as the time for a do-over drawing to partly make up for a Jan. 1 fiasco in which nearly half the eligible tickets in the Super Draw game 100,000 out of 214,601 sold at $10 each were excluded by mistake.
But some lottery players are still unhappy.
The new drawing will be held as two investigations are already underway into how the $1.375 million error occurred on New Year's Day and it's unlikely to satisfy many of the holders of the 1

Arizona Lottery computerized drawing machine generated identical winning numbers
The other thing one can guess from this is that someone is mucking around in the code on the machine. Why else would it suddenly start spitting out repeated draw sequences? And why would the machine have access to previous drawing results that it could copy? If it DOESN'T have access to previous drawing results, then it is generating totally non-random numbers based on some kind of sequence or something.
It is an absolutely horrendous situation, and I would never buy a ticket for one of these

Arizona Lottery computerized drawing machine generated identical winning numbers
Machine taken out of service; no explanation offered
Once again computerized lottery drawings are coming under scrutiny as a machine responsible for generating random numbers has done the opposite, generating exact duplicates.
The Arizona Lottery is offering losing ticket refunds or exchanges from four games held over a recent six-day period because a machine used for the drawings generated the same winning numbers in consecutive games.
The games affected are Fantasy 5, Pick 3, All or N

Post your scratch ticket results
Won $200 on a 100x the Cash ticket this past week but spent that most of that on new tickets (Multiple games) and lost on most
Two days later at different store decided to purchase 100x the Money tickets and stood behind guy who also was buying those. He bought 5 tickets and scratched bar codes while I bought my 5 tickets (The final 5 on roll)
Before I left store he was all smiles with clerk cashing in his $200 + $50 + $25 + $25 winners
I on the other hand got home to find that

New Mega Millions Game
Given the thousands of official lottery random number generators in 46 states and the thousands of self picks, it's logical to assume that, despite the odds, a machine in a small remote store will one day issue a jackpot winner when least expected.
The machine won't know anything about the odds or the size of the jackpot. It will simply issue the appropriate number of tickets, and move on to the next customer.
The player who will be at the right place at the right time will be rich.
